these are not the original opeth band members...not the original drummer..the guitar..i think the bass and the lead are the only original opeth members...but they are still good...

@TheMetalmaniac21 Mikael Akerfeldt (guitar/vocals) is the only original member. Bassist Mendez joined in 1997, drummer Axenrot in 2006, guitar Akesson in 2007. Keyboard player and facial hair extraordinaire Wiberg in 2005, though he just left the band after recording the latest album.

@TheMetalmaniac21 The thing you have to always remember is that Opeth IS Mikael. It doesn't matter who the rest of the band are, really. The lyrics, vocals, and guitar are Mikael, as well as a very large part of the drum, bass, and keyboard. As long as Mikael wants to continue there will always be Opeth to produce fantastic music to blow us away. I don't want to sound like I'm discrediting the rest of the band, as they do an amazing job, but they revolve around Mikael's vision.

I like how Axe doesn't close the hi-hat too early in the verse anymore, like he did in the Gigantour and Roundhouse versions of the song. The footwork for the drums in this song IS a bit tricky, and I guess you have to actually be a drummer to realize that.
