  • Wow, crush General Grievous? Wonder why Jedi knights couldn't think of that, except perhaps kyle katarn.

  • i like how grievous stands outside of the ship (on the bridge) and when he takes the force choke to his chest his inside the ship XD

  • WARNING: Nerd confrence down below soon to be hated on

  • there are three main colors of the jedi green blue and yellow(rare now but not in the old republic) Each represents something Windu probably choose to believe in something that is not in one of the colors.

  • This explains the coughing and wheezing in Episode III.

  • It almost seems wrong to see a versus in the title....

  • and so begins the most annoying cough in movie history

  • @geocross237 I thought force drain would be darker. Since it drains your life and all...

  • Purple lightsaber gives additional critical rating, which explains this

  • now its not like a jedi to do somthing like that

  • @shadaow3651 Windu probably thought he was droid or something.

  • @TheDoctorofOdoIsland he pulled out light sabers acctuly yeah you probly are right

  • hem, mace won that one

  • Why doesn't Mace use this more often? There's no real way to counter it...

  • @beamerdreamer you can counter if you´re skilled enough in the force, wouldn´t work with sidious

  • no wonder fucken grevious is coughing threw out the whole entire movie of the revenge of the sith

  • Wait a second- did Fordo get hit in that gunship? (sorry, I didn't watch this show)

  • @OnlineGMPLZ Or was that even Fordo at all?

  • I have had it with these motherf*ckin droids on this motherf*ckin planet! *crushes Grievous*

  • @darthgallion f***, i wanted to post that comment, still lol

  • Grievous went from being the most promising villain since Darth Maul to a useless wimp in just 2 seconds

  • Windu is a back troll.

  • ...But, why?

  • Should they have just kept Grevious' coughing problem like this, with it not happening at all until Mace damages his lungs. Or is the new idea with him already having coughing because his organs didn't adjust well to his robotic body and what Mace did made it worse an okay way of retcon?

  • I used to be a proud warrior, then I took a force choke to the chest.

  • @EpyonOnyx Greivous was in no way a proud warrior.

  • @ozmo117 In the new clone wars and the movies, no he isn't. But in this cartoon series where he debuted, he was a badass. Up to this scene. lol

  • @EpyonOnyx True.

  • @EpyonOnyx

that's pretty much General Grevious today in a nut shell

  • MUST UP GEORGE LUCAS

  • this series was the shit. they should have continued with this instead of going with the cgi children's series.

  • @Darkfirefire Damn right. Idiots.

  • does this lead to episode three???

  • Yeah, face it, they only added that to cover why he was a pansy in episode 3. He kicked all that jedi ass....just to be fatally crippled with a single attack. From a guy that got one shotted himself...by an already beaten palpatine. Star Wars R.I.P.

  • Mace is the most powerful Jedi more powerful at the time than a weakening Yoda. He can use the force to a greater degree of efficiency than other Jedis. Targeted uses of the force are something requiring great skill and power remember Darth Vader had learnt it by the original series as well. Mace was more powerful than Sidious as well.

  • @Mandar28887 But no jedi can beat Starkiller... he brought a fucking star destroyer out of the sky, using nothing but the force... Holy Fuck! How he managed to do that, I'll never know.

  • @jasonromulus Except the skywalkers, they could ressurect the dead and teleport and shit. Poodoo was so credits

  • @Themook0w Touche... Of course, that comes with the territory of being related to the Chosen One.

  • @jasonromulus Indubitably good sir

  • @Themook0w ... I don't know what that word means... so I'm just going to nod and say yes.

    *nods*... yes.

  • @Mandar28887 Is that the key to enjoying star wars now? To just make stuff up? What are you basing any of this on?

  • @nohomers100 On the series that was watched by me. In terms of strength and skill Mace Windu was second to none and his defeat of Sidious proved he was more powerful than the old Yoda. Yoda in his prime might have been a different kettle of fish we may never know. Using the force to crush Grievous' chest was an incredible move.

  • @Mandar28887 And most Jedis and Sith warriors could break stuff and do other things in a general way things like flattening the chest or catching your neck nerves as Vader showed in the later series showed a deep understanding of the force

  • @Mandar28887 that's what I mean. We are constantly told who is more powerful but we never see it. they can all do the same stuff

  • Why didn't any of the other Jedi think of this sooner?

  • Back when CW was good

  • hmm...you'd think someone would have thought of that earlier...

  • Ohhhh...so this is why he was always coughing in episode 3 ...first i thought it was from too much smoking

  • Oh and it gets better and better. Dooku one of your most powerful and influential members just fucks off and nobody keeps tabs on him. It took them forever to even figure out wtf happened to master cyfodias. They didn't even look into it when they went to gather the clones for the episode 2 battle...and NOBODY cared that a bounty hunter who was assassinating members of their side was the person this BIG ARMY was cloned by? Thats trust worthy. Bad writing. Instead of palps smarts its jedi idiocy!

  • @cyber151 you forgot to add that the planet the clones were made on was mysteriously erased from their databanks. Hey Yoda that's seems a little fishy dont you think. "the dark side clouds everything" yeah maybe but do you really need the force to use common sense? "...duuuuuuh..."

  • @nohomers100 honest to god as i was watching episode 2 i wanted to fucking pause the movie and rewind and watch parts again cuz so much of it was so STUPID.

And that "our ability to use the force is diminishing" bullshit...wtf.

Oh or YODA hearing quigon scream ANAKIN NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. While knowing anakin is in pain...but NOBODY ever questions Anakin on wtf happened.

Then in ROTS anakin stops hiding and tells yoda about his visions. Instead of asking anakin for more info yoda is "its all good!"

  • @nohomers100 Oh and i forgot when the return with palpatine and they think obiwan killed dooku, then he said no i was taking a nap and then anakin says he did it and they ask him "you? HOW?" and he didnt say shit all and never again was it investigated...oh wait that was in ROTS the novel...so even the novel sucked too (still deeper than the movie though)...fucking unbelievable.

  • @nohomers100 Oh and the all star KILLER of it all. From the mysterious great original ep 4-6...as a kid watching them i always wondered wtf happened to anakin.I wondered wtf it would take to bring him down. Then thanks to shitty writing it was this:

Palpatine: Anakin tell the jedi I WANT you to go kill grievous.

Jedi: This is a great opportunity! We cant trust anakin, need to go after palps!

Wait a minute...palps wants you to go? Hellz no. YOU stay here and baby sit. We will ALL go instead!

  • @nohomers100 I mean for fuck sake it solved all there problems. From 1-3 there were so many obvious suspicious bits of bullshit going on. You didnt need the force to see that there was so much false crap going on. And nobody cared to look into it or ask any important questions? Now after all his luck with idiots Palps has put it all on the line!

If anakin is actually sent to kill grievous that leaves him unguarded from the jedi.

But the jedi just got played. Horrible fucking writing. Die Lucas

  • Oh and thats just the start of the stupidity. Obiwan and the entire jedi order don't follow protocol or morals. They have padawans killing and losing their tempers...they let it slide. They allow a clone army period? Really? Millions of organic lives bread to fight in a war and die? All the endless behind the scenes battles and things they learned that they ignored.

DOOKU SAID the dark lord controls the senate. Palpatine is at the highest point in power.

YOU NEED A FUCKING EASIER TRANSLATION?

  • Its not a dark side move. The techniques can be used by both jedi and sith. Jedi can paralyze and dangle people/objects in the air. They can also cause things to snap and break. It's how you use it that makes it light or dark. Example: Force crushing somebody to kill them-dark. Force crushing this asshole to slow him to save lives-light. Or you could just break things to cause things to fall, make bridges, patch holes. Its all in how you use it. I'm sure this is SHATTER POINT. Not force crush.

  • Why didn't some Jedi do this before? Can only Mace do that cause he's black?

  • @rafael502 yeah :L

  • @rafael502

    And because Greivous is white.

  • @rafael502

    yes

  • @rafael502 Force Crush is one of the darkest (second to Force Lightning) Force abilities. Its considered corrupting to some that are not considerably strong in their belief in the light side of the Force.

And yes b/c Mace Windu is black. xD

  • @rafael502

not many Jedi realized he was organic. Some assumed he was an advanced droid, something the Seps have done for so long. It was a shock for Windu

  • @rafael502 lmaooooooooooooooooooooo yes

  • @rafael502 Believe me, I've thought the same thing... guess the only excuse they can put up is that Force Push is originally a Dark Side power, guess they forbid most people to use that power or something, but allow Mace to use it since he developed the Form 7 style, a form that usually connects to the dark side. Therefore, Mace must be somewhat more immune to the dark side in those ways, hence him being able to use force crush. Eh, only reason I can think of.

  • @GeneralErlend You're pretty much correct. Force crush is a dark side power. But Mace's ligthsaber style (which he's mastered) has dark side influences, so he's better able to control the usual power trip than your standard jedi.

  • @rafael502 he´s the most powerful jedi, that´s why he has the purple lightsaber

  • @alexokatana I hope you don't believe that. :\

  • @14Schofield he´s the most powerful jedi, that´s why they sent him to fight sidious/ obviously in this cartoon his powers are way exaggerated / i think, green for master jedi, purple for windu and blue for the others

  • @alexokatana That's not true. Colour is personal preference. He was part of the Jedi War council, but he was not the most powerful Jedi. Many other Jedi had purple lightsabers (not in the movies). People seem to think the colour means everything - but it all comes down to preference. And he actually wasn't sent to fight Sidious, he was going to arrest him, they wouldn't have known he with a Sith unless Anakin had told them.

  • @14Schofield but still they suspected he was a sith lord,

  • @alexokatana A lot of other Jedi suspected he was a Sith Lord, some of them even found out, but were murdered.

  • @14Schofield From what I've read Mace Windu is the most powerful of the jedi council in saber combat, and that's because he uses a style that utilizes some of the dark side, and he's one of the few who can use it as a jedi, which gave him the edge over Sidious as well as gave him the ability to do what he just did to grievous. The purple saber was a rare crystal at the time and he found one so he used it. Again, it's just what I've read and it's hard to tell what's canon these days

  • @SilverBlade9x It's true what u said and it the Violet crystal was a gift given to him for doign something special and Mace Windu is the most powerful Jedi Lucas killed him like a bitch.. >_>

  • @SilverBlade9x One of the most powerful Jedi in saber combat has to force-choke Grievous and it sends one message: When 4 sabers pop out at once with someone like that wielding them, even a master that holds legendary power knows when to say "Oh, fuck that shit!"

  • @Fuzion Haha, agreed. That's what makes Windu even MORE BA. He doesn't have to be or want to be flashy to be hard core. He takes care of business like a boss

  • @SilverBlade9x Very true! It also gives Grievous BA-points due to the fact that it's what was used to stop him. Come to think of it, the only one who bested him in saber combatwas the one that trained him - Dooku. Even in the movie Grievous had to be shot to death to be killed.

  • @rafael502 Because Grievous usually dodges force-push, but force-crush is difficult to evade.

  • I'll always respect Windu for having the discipline to use dark side moves and still remain a jedi!

  • Windu cheated! Couldn't engage the robot man in a duel so he crushes his lungs instead

  • Grievous: What? Ouch! coff coff

Windu: I said if he looks like a bitch!!!

  • Why didn't anyone think of this earlier?

  • @BeAwesomeful

That's technically a Dark Side move.

  • this series KICKED THE SHIT OUTTA THE NEW SHIT

  • wat episode is this from?? plz and thanks lmfao

  • Grievous is lucky to no longer have balls or else Windu would force-squeeze them instead

  • @KupoNinja lololol

  • @nohomers100 we'll see about that. We will.

  • @DrJonathanMM No it has...in the new clone wars show he has the cough but that show obviously takes place before this

  • @nohomers100 actually I believe that this 2-D Clone Wars show was removed from Star Wars cannon so George Lucas could make room for the new 3-D Clone Wars show, that way he can end it however he wanted. In this CW, Anakin never had a padawan (or at least we never saw it) and it jumps right into the very opening of Episode 3, so they're too different to tie in consistently. Damn shame, this CW is far superior in storytelling.

  • @ChocolateAsian9000 that's what happens when you dont think the story through too well. When you are a business man first and a filmmaker a distant second

  • And that's where the coughing comes from. I learned something new.

  • @DrJonathanMM You must unlearn what you have learned...this has already been retconned.

  • PWEE PWEE PWEE PWEE xD

  • When I first watched this scene as a child many years ago I, along with everyone else, expected a huge climatic fight between these two juggernauts. Instead I remember feeling ripped off by this.

Now many years later I look back on this moment and find myself laughing at my more inexperienced self. For you see I have learned a very important lesson after all this time.

You don't mess with Mace Windu

  • So they going to add this in the 3D version?

  • It's just as Kyle Katarn said: "Force powers are neither inherently good nor bad. It's how you use them." Mace was using Grip in order to stop Grievous and defend himself. There was no revenge to be had in crushing his ribs. Grievous never did anything personal against Mace. Still though, that was a pretty dick move Mace.

  • @Rexaura888 It's not even dick since grievious is a droid, lol.

  • @Rexaura888 A dick move? Seems pretty smart to me? Makes you wonder why he didnt use a similar move on Boba Fett instead of cutting his head off. that way they could have questioned him about the whole clone thing

  • @nohomers100 "Jango." Yeah, they could have, but they probably wouldn't have gotten much out of him. Besides, what's there to question that they don't already know?

  • @Rexaura888 Jango boba they are the same guy...What do you mean? who hired him? Why? The cloners said Sifodyas was their contact but Boba told ObiWan that a man named Tyrannus hired him. Who is Tyrannus? They dont know. Besides it would have shown the Jedi investigating where the clone army came from a little more than not at all

  • @nohomers100 Oh they knew who Tyrannus was (at least Yoda did). It wasn't much of a secret who Tyrannus was once Obi Wan pieced two and two together. Every Jedi knew Tyrannus was Dooku at the end.

Boba, and all the clones for that matter, are unique in that they have their own personalities (though most still share a loyalty to the Republic). Boba is even more unique in that he ages differently. You don't hear the clones being called "Boba clones" do you?

  • @Rexaura888 If they knew that their enemy was behind the creation of the clone army why did they use the clones? Wow the Jedi are dumber than I thought.

But besides that when was it stated that yoda knew who Tyrannus was? Or any Jedi for that matter? The only the emperor called him that and it was only when they were alone so I dont see how the jedi could have known he was Tyrannus

Boba and Jango are the same person. The cloner said Boba was an exact duplicate of Jango

  • @nohomers100

    Part 1

There's no denying that the clones were good at what they did: follow orders and take down droids. A better question would have been why the Separatists never utilized them. With the Republic, you know the saying: when life gives you lemons...

Perhaps I was too optimistic in thinking that Obi Wan was that smart. However, Dooku was Yoda's padawan and is now with the Emperor. Common practice at the time for both Sith and Jedi allowed for one padawan/student.

  • @nohomers100

    Part 2

That could be reinforced in that Yoda would not allow Qui Gon to have two padawans (Anakin and Obi Wan) at once. Grievous doesn't count as a disciple. He never knew how to use the force. Yoda did the math. I'm pretty sure other Jedi figured it out too.

I should have been clearer: Kamino supported the Republic once Obi Wan came to "pick up" the clones. They would continue to do so as long as they kept paying.

Boba and Jango are the same in that respect, but Jango died.

  • @Rexaura888 My point is is that only the emperor called Dooku tyrannus so why would Yoda suspect that Tyrannus is Dooku? Based on what? Also, the fact that your enemy is behind the creation of the army should be a HUUUUUUUGE red flag that something is up and is worth looking into. Maybe a little more investigation could have uncovered Order 66

  • @nohomers100 Regardless of whether I'm right or you're right, the fact of the matter is that the Jedi wouldn't be able to do anything about the army. Palpatine's word was basically law at that point. He had the charisma to convince the senators to side with him. If they didn't, he would intimidate them indirectly. With the war occupying Jedi and spreading them out, there wasn't much time to do some digging behind the clones anyways.

  • @Rexaura888 Well I'm going by what was in the movies. And in the movies there was no hint that anyone knew Dooku also went by Tyrannus. Also, there was no scene or bit of dialogue in the movie that establishes that the Jedi's hands were tied and that they were forced to use the army. Maybe a better writer/director would have had a scene where the Jedi raise some concerns over the army or do so some investigating into its creation only to have it forced on them but Lucas is a poor writer

  • @Rexaura888 Also, besides the dubious circumstances behind its creation the Jedi should have shown some moral problems with using an army of disposable humans that had their DNA tampered with to make them more obedient soldiers. I mean you'd think an order of monks dedicated to justice and wisdom would have some problems with that. But no. Palptines grand plan only works if no one uses common sense or asks logical questions

  • @nohomers100 Yes indeed. 1-3 were poorly written. So many flaws, so many idiot characters not doing ANYTHING that made sense or using their brains. Thanks to such crap writing the only reason Palpatine conquered was because the Jedi were total IDIOTS. They didn't care that there most powerful warrior was showing anger everywhere? They left anakin to watch the kids when they couldve sent him after grievous and then arrested palps when they KNEW they couldnt trust ani? Jedi just ignored RED FLAGS.

  • @Rexaura888 One last thing. The war didnt actually start until Yoda showed up with the clones. In fact up until that point the Jedi didnt even think Dooku was evil. They called him a political idealist and didnt think he was capable of murder which leads me to think that there was no actual fighting going on until the end of Clones

  • @Rexaura888 thank you for straighting out the trailer of star wars the old republic! I was kind of confused because I thought the republic had only ordered the troopers in episode 2

  • You know Griveous totally wanted to add that awesome purple lightsaber to his collection

  • At the beginning while they walking him onto the ship

    Palpatine: You're lucky I'm sparing you're lives.....

  • So what happened to Fordo in the airship?

  • is this why hes always coughing in the films?

  • @normanowns0613

    I think so.

  • @normanowns0613 Yes.

  • @normanowns0613 yes it is!

  • @normanowns0613 No, its not, but here we once again see Mr Lucas's tendency to not make sense! Grievous got his cough and his robotic body after a crash staged by the Banking Clan after witch his lungs were partially damaged, resulting that cough... This is nothing more but a dumb remake...

  • People seem to forget Mace Windu was one of the most powerful and badass Jedi ever. Like others have said he created his own lightsaber form called Vaapad that was so hardcore that he is the only Jedi to ever utilize it without going to the darkside (it involves channeling your emotions until you walk the razors edge between losing control)

  • @QuinnnMallory he's not a robot,he's a cyborg, didn't you see his organic eyes when he says "army or not,you must realize, you are doomed..."?

  • @thgfghfghs Oh yeah, I hadn't thought of that.

  • say what you will Grievous just got his shit fucked up without Mace even using his lightsaber he probably would have died if he fought Mace head on. Mace is the shit!

  • omg how unfair!

  • This answered a question I had about Grievous ever since ROTS. I had wondered why he was always coughing since he was a robot.

  • @QuinnnMallory This is the original backstory they gave him so it tied together with Episode III. If you watch the 2008 Clone Wars series he already has his cough because his mechanical parts irritate his lungs.

  • A little mistake 0:10 grievous is outside, 0:12 grievous is in the ship LOL

  • rock, paper, FORCE CRUSH!

  • press 8

  • this video is way too long.

  • Comment removed

  • I think Mace was just a little bit pissed here.

  • I love how the jedi ALWAYS FORGET TO USE THE FORCE ON GENERAL GRIEVOUS!!!!! They could always simply smash him to bits,s smashing him on a wall or something, SO THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

  • @superjopower19 They're too busy avoiding 4 lightsabers...

  • I HAV HAD IT WITH THESE MOTHERFUCKIN DROIDS ON THIS MOTHERFUCKIN PLANET!!!!!

  • Grievous: (draws lightsabers) Bring it on!

Mace: (crushes chest) YOU ON MY TERF MOTHER FUCKER!!!!!

  • is this why he always coughs?

  • @ObiJuanKonobi Yes, thats why he's coughing in Episode 3, Samuel El Jackson fucked him up. Anyone else think that crushing a guys chest doesn't seem like the Jedi way?

  • @BarajasJacob Because mace created his own form Vaapad to answer his weakness and than channels his own darkness into a weapon of the light.

  • That's op....mace needs a nerf.

  • force crush bitches

  • This is exactly what we need to do to the CEOs of the cigarette companies . . .

MAKE THEM SUFFER THE SAME FATE AS THEIR COSTUMERS!!!!

  • grivus:FOUR SRUODS BISH!!!!!!1

mace uses force and fuck him

  • well...that was anticlimatic

  • say what you say Grievous got FUCKED up by Master Windu and he did it with EASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Anyone found it odd that when Grievous ignited his lightsabers on the ramp, then the scene to Windu doing a Force Crush, then Grievous was instantenously in the ship?? O.O..... never knew grievous can teleport

  • @wandererintheshadow WOW...03. Nice observation

  • Mace: I'M SORRY DID I BREAK YOUR CONCENTRATION?

  • @surrender127 nice one

  • @surrender127 Funny thing

Mace here is played by Phil La Marr, Phil La Marr was also playing the guy who got his head shot off in the back of Julies car and julies is of course played by Sam Jacskon. it's a Plup fiction full circle

  • @PSNGreyLynx

    Mind. Blown.

  • yeah so what. Grievous is real Flashy with light sabre combat. But he can't do shit without his light sabres.! Cause without his light sabre he's a total bitch! And that's what we see here.

  • @gaijin140 He's actually pretty amazing with his hands considering he has 4...6 if you count his feet. O_O He also has super strength.

  • @gaijin140 u know he killed an entire multi planetary empire of insectoids with a gun (note i said gun and not blaster because he used a freaken rifle like we use now). He learned sword combat not from count dooku but his best friend who died in a fight with the insectoids. General Grievous was a badass before he was turned into a cyborg by count dooku (yea see that he didnt want to be a cyborg someone blew up his ship with a bomb)

  • Short Duel , 5 seconds XD

  • I'll get you Mace Windu, if its the last thing i do

  • Head

  • Should have crushed his. Still badass

  • Biggest Mistake of General Grievous was Scaring a Blac- I mean Mace Wendu like that

    0:09

Grievous: *Show 4 Lightsaber* GRRR! *STARE!*

Wendu: *Startled* AHH *Use Force Grip*

Grievous: *Chest get Imploded* GAAAH! *Cry in Agony*

  • I can't forgive Windu doing that...

  • lol 4 sec long fight and he won

  • and once again Windu tries to kill one of my favorite villains...I cheered in the theater when he died, if you did too, vote this up.

  • @5dmc1 lol

  • why dont you change the title to 'mace windu owns grievous'

  • grivus: LOOK MY FOUR LIGHTSABERS BITCH

    Windu: FEEL MY FORCE BITCH

  • Shame this happened, Grievous couldve brought a new element of danger and epicness to Episode 3 instead of just being a sideshow.

  • @XCHAPYEG episode 3 was all about anakin becoming darth vader there was no time for grievous to do a full story so thats why george lucas did this to him juss before the movie came out

  • @XCHAPYEG I actually thought he was more imposing and menacing with that breathing of his. Sorta Darth Vaderish element to him =P

  • Isnt that like..... against the jedi code?

    To just crush someone's organs?

  • @kouriichi He slaughtered over a 100 jedi, if Grevious was gonna fall, he had to pull a Revan.

  • so much for NOT using the force for attack.

  • That is the reason why Grievous isn't powerful in episode 3 . He was super powerful in the Clone Wars but afer what Mace did, he got weak.

  • @MrVogelz Well, hes mostly a robot. His heart and lungs to explain why his weak.

Infact, this injury would probably lead him to become stronger, because he would just get rid of them.

They can make a paraplegic with 5th degree burns across his entire body ((which probably melted his clothing to his skin making it even harder to heal)) walk, talk and help rule then empire.

Im sure they could fix something as small in comparison as this.

We could TODAY xD with our sh*t technology.
