I certainly hate unfair trials. I hate wrongful convictions, especially against Black men.

I have a brother-in-law who was wrongfully convicted of murder and is now doing life without parole.

The interview with the juror is similar to what happened in our family, and the verdict was, shocking for lack of a better term, because there are no words to describe it.

If the Briggs wouldn't have sided with Mike Porter and teamed up with him to railroad Raye Dawn, he would have gone to trial and all of his dirty little secrets would have been exposed and we'd know how many other children he may have hurt along the way. I don't think he turned into a pedophile who viewed child porn overnight. In my opinion, there are probably many other victims. I just wish they would come forward so he would be labeled a sex offender.
