  • epic!

  • Now is reported.Voice is beautiful,exciting.

  • and yes ...Victor Willis was a drug dealer and user, yes obviously he did the songs before drugs became his God

  • Eric Anzalone - testoterone SHOTS! you need LOTS! epic fail sub for Glenn, He didnt even approve of him.

  • @fesswah agree that eric does not come close to glenn, not even by a long shot, but do u kno for real that glenn didnt approve or r u just being sarchastic? cos i heard that glenn was an excellent guy in real life and would most likely be very gracious. i kno for a fact that eric has spoken very highly of glenn

  • @kamaldavis96 I heard Glenn was his 'sleaze' mentor, and I've never heard Eric say a bad word about Glenn or anyone.

  • @fesswah The only problem with finding a replacement for Glenn is, an equally macho man simply doesn't exist!

  • weren't they a gay band?

  • @thundermaster41 look at their clothes. it´s obviously. cowboy, officer, ... :)

  • @SliverEm lol

  • I wish someone would post Victor doing "Hot Cop"

  • @juanpiquersimongore right on

  • I remember the Village People, but I was too young to know and get what they were REALLY about. Thought they were just a bunch weirdly dressed singers.

  • it was around this time[disco dancing] that most if not all of the dancers were gay. Dick Clark hated it and he was not very nice off camara . Disco started in the gay underground clubs in Calif. My younger brother was there thru the disco era. They would tape 1 month worth of shows in 1 day. Mr clark tried many things to change the crowd but nothin worked.

  • This is great!! I remember watching this in 1978 on ABC I had chicken pox love love this!!!!!! Iam 45 yrs old now I loved the 70s and American Bandstand!!!

  • So this is it. The first time ever. Heard about it on NPR, then looked here. History was made.

  • boy that y-m-c-a will never die! i even went to a show in vegas and they did it there! the arm movements actually started in the bleachers, that's where it came from. we (the dancers) just started doing it and like they said..the rest is history. their video had already come out and it had not been done yet. we get those bragging rights..now if we only got a shiny new nickel for everyone everytime they did it!!

  • I've always loved the leather biker bear! woof! hehe

  • @juanpiquersimongore I mentioned that because, even though Victor Willis had a drug problem, without him, they would never have made it where they were.

  • Victor willis IS the village people, the group that's been going around for 30 yrs are weak and lame . He was the voice and wrote, YMCA, in the navy and Macho man.

  • @keithypoo31 i can't believe he was married to claire huxtable!

  • @keithypoo31 Co wrote.

  • Great interview, great song, great show, and an outstanding band Village People
