What's in Vernal? If you asked me the same about Marshall, I couldn't come up with anything.

Vernal is kind of like Marshall it's located north east utah 30 mins from colorado state line. Vernal is also a oilfield based town. now the difference, the walmart here closes at midnight sometimes 11pm, there's no resturants that are stays open for 24hr, the food and service sucks, you 3 hrs away from anything with a mall, it's horrible here. i grew up in Marshall live there until i was 20 really don't want to move back but wouldn't mind getting closer to home.

yeah i drove through Albequerque and it wasn't the greatest site.i kind of remind me of a metro Vernal. Marshall just have to much wannabe's running around. but since i move away in 2002 it's growed a little bit.

St. George is a nice place i wouldn't living there but the company i work for Halliburton doesn't have a yard there. i'm actually trying to move to longview cause they have a big yard in Kilgore. The weather in St. George is a 100x better than Vernal

Do you know Austin Furnitures? I wonder what it looks like in there and what furnitures they sell. They have "rent for own" business". I be that goes well in a place like Marshall. Thee poor are too poor to pay for their furnitures in one shot and end up paying ten times as much. That must suck! Anyway, I wonder what the average person makes working in such a store.

How about Indian or other ethnic Restaurants? Do they grow organic foods? How about public pools? It's rather hot out there, you see. What the city doing for the public? You gotta have a good gym to hang... :-) Also, ther got to be a movie theatre. Maybe some cool artists live nearby.

There IS one cool latte place, but the parks are ghetto. Forget any music scene. Go to Jefferson or Shreveport for that. Marshall is a bedroom town. Eat, sleep, go ta work (in the next town). That's it.

Caddo is not in Marshall (even though Marshall keeps trying to claim its water). And there's Lake of the Pines, also not in Marshall.

there's the michelson art museum and there's the art center or something. it's okay. :\
