This video and gaga's 'alejandro' both begin with the sound of marching feet, and have oddly dressed marching men throughout. they both use electronic beats, pseudo-rapping, and they are both sopranos. They both have strong personalities, and they're not afraid to show them. Bjork wears clothing though...

Holy hell! How are people even comparing Björk to Lady GaGa? Yes, they can be quirky, strange, artistic. But I don't see how they are anything like each other. Does anyone listen to either artist? Does anyone take the time to watch their videos? Are factual comparisons made? They're both incredibly talented artists and entertainers, and have two completely different styles. This video and gaga's 'alejandro' both begin with the sound of marching feet, and have oddly dressed marching men throughout. they both use electronic beats, pseudo-rapping, and they are both sopranos. They both have strong personalities, and they're not afraid to show them. Bjork wears clothing though...

@jodabrauer The flaw in this argument, however, is that A LOT of artists have songs that start with marching. Alejandro's marching isn't even apart of the song, but an addition for the video. Nowadays, everybody uses electronic beats. There are innumerable sopranos. And most celebrities do have strong personalities, otherwise they aren't too likely to be performers. But Bjork has been a pioneer; she crafted music that sounded like nothing else and was supremely gorgeous. Lady Gaga, :/
