@crabman66606 richard commited suicide becouse after hundreds, maybe even thousand of years, he was finally able to die. charlie probably didnt think he could get out fast enough so thats simple. the man in black cannot leave becouse ever since he became joined with the force of god (which is btw what i call the light in the cave) he can no longer leaver the force of gods resting place (the island) jacob was only a guardian therefor he could. hope that helped

MIB got claire and Aaron to the island through the psychic's niece who has the ability to talk to ghosts.

Funny song and video, I can relate to the frustration of so many unanswered questions, or answers that raise more questions. However some of them are pretty obvious, for instance why did the Others have that weird funeral? The smoke monster can take on the corporeal form of people who are dead on the island, so they send the corpses out to sea to prevent it. Most of the other questions were answered in season 6. The power the island generates was responsible for all the weird paranormal stuff.

@ForeverLost108 Don't you also remember what Christian also said about the island to jack? He said 'You made it real'. So this basically means the island is some kind of metaphoric battle between good and evil being fought out in the characters' sub-conscious or created in the island world or whatnot. And most of all, the 'heaven'/alternate universe/kaka/shenanigan was an irrelevant plot device. It *could've* been great if there was an 8th season, and if it wasn't used as a horrible cop-out.
@shoulderkolibri: I just re-watched that scene between Christian and Jack and he never said "You made it real." he just confirmed that everything that ever happened to Jack was real and that all those people in the church are real and that the most important part of his life happend with those people. This confirmes that the Island was real!

He says, "Everybody dies sometime kiddo. Some of them before you, some long after you." Now how did some die before Jack and some LONG after Jack is they all died at the same time in the plane crash. That line PROVES that everything that happened on the Island was 100% REAL. Just though I'd put in my two cents.

They didn't answer all the questions, only the important ones like why were they here and what was the black smoke. They didn't answer all the little questions because the directors wanted that the fans would themselves think their best own version of some answer. And i think that was the wisest way to end the amazing and phonemic show.

It was just ridiculous. i just saw it as a show with too many different writers, who find the mystery angle the perfect ruse to fool the audience into thinking 'oh my gosh this is so important' when really the sub-plots are either half-assed or irrelevant.

Christian explained the ending: Everything that happend on the Island DID happen! They saved the world! The afterlife flashes are a world that they created to find each other after dead so that they can move on together.
LOST told the story of the "fight" between MIB and Jacob and every question concerning that was answered. How does people no get that?

@ForeverLost108 Don't you also remember what Christian also said about the island to jack? He said 'You made it real'. So this basically means the island is some kind of metaphoric battle between good and evil being fought out in the characters' sub-conscious or created in the island world or whatnot. And most of all, the 'heaven'/alternate universe/kaka/shenanigan was an irrelevant plot device. It *could've* been great if there was an 8th season, and if it wasn't used as a horrible cop-out.

@shoulderkolibri: I just re-watched that scene between Christian and Jack and he never said "You made it real." he just confirmed that everything that ever happened to Jack was real and that all those people in the church are real and that the most important part of his life happend with those people. This confirmes that the Island was real!
It's not a cop-out and it can't even be considered as one if you actually understood it. I'm glad you didn't like it just because you didn't get it :)

@ForeverLost108 You are right. He never said "You made it real." The most important line of that episode is when Christian's answer when jack asks "They're all dead?" He says, "Everybody dies sometime kiddo. Some of them before you, some long after you." Now how did some die before Jack and some LONG after Jack is they all died at the same time in the plane crash. That line PROVES that everything that happened on the Island was 100% REAL. Just though I'd put in my two cents.

@shoulderkolibri The alternate reality was created from the subconscious of the dead, not the version of events seen through season 1 to 5, that all really happened (In the story at least). I agree that they rushed it though, there should have been 7 seasons not 6.

I miss lost. That show will always be a part of me because Ive seen it from start to finish and i grew up on that show. I aint gonna lie... when i first saw the series finale, i was disappointed because they didnt answer all the questions. So back in may I decided to watch the whole series again and didnt worry about the questions and I focused on the characters. its a whole completley diffrent series if you watch it. And them not anwsering some of the questions made lost immortal. LOST FTW!

Excellent ! Wish the writers watched it. The "Jack, you've got to move on and let it go" seems to me like a pretty minimal answer to all these tons of QUESTIONS unresolved. WE'RE SO FREAKING CONFUSED !!!!!!

the smoke monster, the black rock and the well are resolved in ss6.
the numbers are part of the valenzeti equation and represent the candidates.
the DHARMA didnt automake the process of pushing the button because another station (the Orchid, I believe) had been made in order to examine and analyse the people who push it.
they were experimenting on polar bears to see if they could possibly live in tropicals environments.
