  • Can I assume that since this game uses the source engine, I could use the settings for 10ms lerp in CS:S? ...the hitbox was right on, and everyone suggests 10ms lerp

  • My shots never register in day of defeat and I have no idea what any of these commands are how ever I know how to open the console yay for me but can someone please help me please what can i do to make my shots register

  • Thank you for the video. I always wondered why whenever I ran around a corner, or was trying to kill someone strafing, I would get owned. I just thought it was bad luck, or that my reactions were slow. Turns out my lerp was 100ms. Changed it to 21ms (lowest white value) and now it's so much better.

  • depending on how good ya connection is. but mostly its the interp ratio and interp + updaterate/cmd rate. if u have lower rates it will.

    btw just secretly so i told you so. the best terps is 0.0666 bitches.

    außerdem wart ich erst ma lieber, bis sich dods wida stabilisiert hat... so von wegen no-recoil und 100% accuracy usw. seit dem leztzten update...

  • use a rifle to demonstrate hit detection. Anything else has too much built in randomness.

    Lag compensation will result in the actual delayed hitboxes being ignored and the model being used.

    Also, you missed running zero lerp, which tends to have the best reg you can get.

  • lerp 0-settings were not known at this time...

    and zero lerp isn't "realy" possible, i've tested it and i like to play with a real lerp because with 0-settings i always have a different feeling on each server...

    i used medium because it doesn't make much dmg and i don't have to reload every second...

  • Zero lerp is server side - they set a command so you can use a 0 lerp and have it remain white. So, for the most part, no pubs will have this set correctly.

    Even with that logic, use a garand.

    lerp 0 is theoretically possible if u calculate the ping, lag compensation and so on... but practically it is impossible > same like ping 0^^

    i would like to make a new movie which would describe it from the beginning with ping, lagcompensation, tickrate and so on - but I don't have the time to do this :(

  • what does cl_interp_ratio do exactly, i hear 0 is good, I think 3 is default. You know anything bout that?
