i think your right, i also think the driver kept clutch kicking it and not letting the engine do the work. Probably blew a pipe or over fuelled it, 100% over heated though.
im 32 now and have dealing with cossies since i was 17, a decent built cossie will take abuse and drive well under hard acceleration, but like any car, they dont like short bursts of abuse like clutch kicking, same as BMW. Sad to see cossies and M3's ending up on the scrap heap cause people dont put the money into them and look after them. oh well
