The Civic is just great for almost everyone for all kinds of needs. Its 1.8L engine even has the fuel efficiency of a 1.5L engine when it's cruising, fantastic job Honda :]...!!!

I have a 19 yr old civic which smaller than this one but it still runs great. I only do basic maintenance, put new tires on when needed, replaced batteries a few times. I changed the timing belt every 100k km. Now it has nearly 500 thousand km on it. It seems that it can go another 500k km. I think nothing can beat a Honda. BTW, my motorcycle is a honda too. It is 21 yr old and it has more than 300k km.

i drive one... my comments on the car... plenty of plastic inside and it rattles (this isn't honda's plauge but any cheap car really)...the body is light and soft... in the old heavy buick the doors were made of solid steel and it was much more difficult to create a dent... this thing any smallest touch of the car parked next to you (dont even get me started on people) you've got a dent. other than that it's a perfect car.... once you drive with the split dash it's hard to go back...

lol very true. i have a civic also. but the only american car that i buy is a big truck. which i happen to have. i own a 2009 GMC yukon denali. runs like a charm. but for cars like a civic. the ford focus , or the chevorlet coblt can't match japanese cars.

I test drove the EX-L coupe. It's a nice little fun ride. Great quality. Not cheap but leather, sunroof, decent comfort, great mpg..great resale.
