lol @ hermaphrodite, yeah some people can be rude and this seems to be what the main problem was, thery were unprofessional. Usually gym trainers are woresome and up your butt tryning to get you to join. I used to have a trainer and he was really good, even continued to offer me training sessions after I used all of mine up. Most of them are good and professional, just try another gym/trainer.

I hate that happen to you but like you said you have to push yourself even when other people act ignorant at they gym. As far as the weight loss clinic I thought about going to one but from what I see all they do is pum you full of adipex and fat burning shots and being on a pill was something I personally didnt want to do..so I am with you do that shit on your own!!

dont take it personal because alot of those evaulations are BS anyway, the trainers that usually does it need the clientile...however, if you were paying the trainers 50/hr and had 10 sessions they would be happy.. My gym offer two free session with a trainer but they are with the ones that I never see with any clients...I learned everything from eithe paying someone or reading books...do your thing.and take a group class until you can find someone that can give you pointers...wish you the bes

u know what? ur on point. i spent a thousand swiss francs probably the same amount in dollars for a card well membership in a gym. last year... when i went there the first time it all looked so fancy and so great but when i had my first appointment i thought umm someone please wake me up coz the gym instructor was totally rude n not understanding my problem or my goals. was makin fun of it pretty much. i jus didnt give a shite and kept on workin out

I so agree with you on many of the points you raised. Though I must say that trainers are instructed to go easy on obese people as not to be sued. It's sad that your trainer wasn't taking her job as seriously as she should have and failed to finish the session with you. The only person that really cares has to be you, you are the one that lives in your body and only you are accountable to yourself. Even if nobody else cares....love yourself enough to care and keep up the fight! Blessings.

Wow...sorry that happened to you! Definite fuckery, indeed. Please complain about how she treated you to her supervisor/manager! If it were me, I would cancel the membership and either workout at home or find another gym/go to the YWCA. (Not saying that what happened to you at this gym couldn't happen elsewhere, but it may be worth a shot). Also, check out seejanesweat - she does all her workouts at home. Hope it gets better.

All trainers aren't this way, but most are as their jobs are sales-driven. They spend more time pitching programs and subscriptions - than they do actually helping clients.
