Actually if your constraints are wobbly it means your weight balancing is off. So that means you dont know what you are doing, not that something is wrong with the game.

If u put something on it, the car body for example, it will be nearly impossible to drive straigh it will always turn right or left...

I made it with wire hydraulics and advanced numpad controller! It's pretty simple, but I have a big problem with stupidly weak axis! I made almost the same - two iron beams attached by axis on the other one and wheels attached by axises on them. But they cannot support themselves nor the car! I think it is the gmod 11 problem, because they just hang down and don't even hold the straight position if the car is lifted in the air :-\

I have some knowledge how to overcome this now - basically you need to make the beams which the wheels are connected to heavier - then the axis will be stronger.

Also you can axis a wheel on a flat plate so it will act also as a support against flapping. If you understand advanced ballsocket (which is not very simple:) you can attach that plate (or some flat beam) on the upper and also bottom side with angle limited ballsockets so it will allow attached wheel to steer just in a certain angle and it holds quite good then...I can show how to make it if you wish. Write me on steam.

probably but a wheel is a lot better because with hydraulics its going to have to be a lot more accurate and it is also going to delay the steering response because by the time you want it to stop turning you will have to stop it, reverse it, and then stop it perfectly straight.

me and a friend tried this, we ahve a problem however. As easy as u make it seem for some reason when we add the tires to the steering arms it go hay wire , the tires lay flat and occasionaly get tangled up in the ropes...why is this?

The only reason I can think of is because your tires are really large, and therefore too heavy for the chassis to handle. Using the weight Stool, try making the wheels about as heavy as the arms they are attached to.

I think a way to make a floating vehicle steer like that is to make a same basic chassis but instead of putting wheels on the turning mehcinisim, you put thrusters at the ends.
