@MartialArts4Ever the student started with his hands up. and parried the first strike... the rest of his response is a natural response that all people have once they've been hit that fast and with that many strikes.
@bronson1 his partner was very much alive. he just didn't have the ability to react beyond the first combo.
You should spend more time training, and less time worrying about how other Wing Chun people demonstrate their technique. And where are the videos of you fighting against "Alive" opponents?
@Ben1987X Sifu Becker was also an apprentice instructor in Mandemuda Silat and a vew styles of Kali. So his Wing Chun demos often included a variety of hits that most Wing Chun stylists don't normally think of. The head butt is a nasty follow up to the 1, 2, 3's of Wing Chun. Thanks for your comment.
the "other guy" actually blocked the first combo.(Pak Sao) but the knee made him keep his hands low and the rest came in so quick he turned to stone in response.
@bronson1 actually. this is not a drill. it is a "demonstration" read the headline.

@adigspi Nice video! Is it only Wing Chun or also some Kali/Arnis because of the headbutt? Gr Ben!

@adigspi If you think about the range, and you're too close to use your elbows or knees, then i think a headbutt would be the best choice of attack

what was that jump and stomp thing he did ?
OfficialViniVaniLLa 1 year ago
@OfficialViniVaniLLa it adds power to your headbutt. The guy is falling and then you jump off the ground to bounce him.
