  • My only suggestion would be using an emulsifier to keep the oil and water together.

  • first of let me say that you are beautiful! and i dont say that alot. thumbs up to us BEAUTIFUL darkskined married ladies!!! i just tried to make the shea-aloe, but i have aloe vera juice.... girl it came out great!! thanks for this... can you say p.h balanced shea butter?! LOL

  • @BEAUTIFULHAIR3 Thank you =) Yes! Thumbs up to BEAUTIFUL dark-skinned married ladies!!! Your welcome. It sure is ph balanced.... LOL.

  • @naturalnola86, I melted 100% Pure Shea butter and mixed it with the Eco-styler gel and twisted my hair. It came out really nice, and tried really fast.

  • What kind of Shea butter are you using and where can you purchase it? I live in New Jersey.

  • @Travel4851 I am using organic unrefined shea butter. I bought my shea butter from butters-n-bars dotcom

  • You know what I find my hair takes a while to absorb shea butter but when I mix it with my eco styler gel which is 2 part shea and 1 part eco it works so good. Without the gel my hair is frizzy but the combo makes my hair smooth and so soft.

  • @NaturalNola86 I am glad that you found what works for you. I may give the shea and ecostyler a try. I would have never thought to mix those two together.

  • I've been doing this every since you told me to give it a try and I love it! It's a great mixture!

  • @beautifullyme7 I am glad it worked out for you. I love using this mixture too. Now I heat mine up for like 3 to 4 seconds and stir it before using it.

  • @naturalcurlz86 Cool. I will give that a try.

  • Thanks for making this vid. I was wondering if you would ever make one on your shealoe mix.

  • @echojade88 Thanks for watching :)

  • How long will it take you to use this? I've read that you should put some kind of preservative in your homemade mixtures so they won't go bad. I have been adding a few drops of tea tree oil to my homemade concoctions and so far nothing has gone bad on me.

  • @StaceFace75 It doesn't take long at all. I make it in small batches. I make just enough for what I want to do with my hair for one style. I use grapefruit seed extract or tea tree oil as a preservative.

  • Thanks for posting thus, I didn't comment on the other video but your twist out came out so pretty and full, and girl itchy scalp is the cause of most of my styles not lasting.

  • @TashaGreat Thank You. That is why I don't like doing wearing braids. My scalp will itch within a week. When I wash my hair, it will get frizzy, and then I am ready to take them out. I am going to do a scalp scrub. Then I am going to co-wash.

  • I 've heard of this but never put the effort to make ..sooo easy I see LOL!! girl silly me I forgot about the old "microwave heat up" I 've been melting my sheabutter letting it sit in a hot bowl of water ..hmm LOL!!

  • @Kinkycurlycoil LOL. Yeah I forgot about the microwave too, until filming this. I was letting my shea butter melt in a pot of hot water. It used to take forever! I have little patience when I am making my mixes. Don't burn your shea butter though! LOL. It only takes a few seconds :)
