@howardkevinm because if you ever noticed they always lip sync every number, so all the mics are fakes and dead. But if they ever "talk" during or after a number they always have a Mic that is different fromt he rest. Best case of this is the 50's show they did in 1985, Ryan wears a head Mic, but when he talks he talks into another mic.
This was my fave season. I remember watching this episode when it premiered and I got chills during this last number. ha ha ha. After Ryan, Renee and the Kid left it sucked. I hated Kenny and Devyn and dont even get me started on the last few casts.
@ca2ma Keep in mind that 80s music is so much more singable and kid-friendly. When the 90s came around, pop music started sucking. And the cast couldn't sing that.

Kids Incorporated first made it's debut in 1983 with the pilot but episodes didn't air until 1984. This is the 1987 season. :-)

i think the trouble started with kenny and devon. after that it kinda went everyone for themselves. no harmony or closeness the orginals had.
