Not saying 1000 hp won't get you 8 seconds..........but its not a simple as just whacking another 6000 hp and getting a 7 second run.

7 seconds actually not that great for a 7 thousand horsepower DRAG car.
I ve seen people do high 8 seconds with less than 1000 horses.
