I cannot believe I am the first person to comment on this beautiful, wonderful piece of music! And whoa dude, that second beat.....never heard anything like it!
@aphexbin that's not the way to look at it. people always want to hear good music... they just don't know about Jneiro Jarel... the awareness just isn't there. IDK... I kinda prefer it to be that way, I kinda want all the good music for myself XD. but in all honesty, I think if he goes mainstream it would be a bad thing... I think it'd get ruined somehow...
@zeroswings2...i know what you mean i'm completely pretensious when it comes to music, i love the fact you mention an artist and 99.9% of people (even those who consider their music taste avante garde) wouldn't have a clue. and i totally agree that if he blew up like Dilla for example, it would ruin it for those of us who have known about it for ages....i was like this when Burial got nominated for a mercury. i guess it's a double edged sword :S
@aphexbin I'm the same way, though my fear is that once an artist blows up, they're gonna sell out. Thankfully, in the case of both mentioned examples, Dilla and Burial, neither of them have really sold out, at all. They've just popped up more and more since then. There's never really been an oversaturation of either artist so far, which I'm grateful for.
Honestly, if Jneiro Jarel got mainstream acclaim somehow, I don't think he'd be the type to make that a bad thing, neccessarily.
i was lookin for sum shit like this....i'm thankful i finally find it
