  • what about blender or inkscape but keep with open source software

  • what about blender or inkscape

  • Maybe something to do with all the 'super nova's' and 'distant sun' stuff. ;)

Or maybe how to do realistic grass, because I'd really like to know how.

    Thank you.

  • I feel that if you can do it and ur good at it and ppl its somin ppl want to see make it

Also , if u want to do somin like u said in the video why dont u make another channel for those things :) hope my " advice " helps :D

  • Your tutorials have been very helpful for the GIMP. I'd be interested in any other tutorials you'd like to do; the videos you've already done prove your ability, I think.

  • Your videos are fantastic..... I've learned how to work with GIMP and would love to see tutorials on other MAC apps.... they are very helpful

  • maybe some pixelmator tutorials.

  • Video editing tutorials using freeware would be really nice :) Any technology tutorials would be enjoyable for me. i think tis a great idea that you asked your "audience" about this; keeps people from complaining a bit ;D

  • I think it's a good idea especially the video shizz but also, how about the animation program 'scratch'?

  • feel free to make those tutorials, but it would be nice if you put them on different channels, because otherwise it would get rather annoying.

  • First of all, I want to say that i like a lot your tutorials. I would like to know how to illuminate a picture (or an object of the picture) using layers.

    Thanks.

  • @JJtheDuke I don't know what you mean.

  • Ey man... you make real good tutorials... i like learning random stuff.... please... make all the tutorials you want.... could be washing windows... id still watch

  • TEACH US! TEACH US!

  • Yes, I think you should post more diverse tutorials. As long as you don't skimp out on the Gimp stuff!

Mindmapping stuff is fun. How about some HTML5? Flash?

  • go for it, your simply putting out what you know. i dont see how people could get mad at your for trying to help them out. the more you branch out the more audience you will get. so really you really just decided to do something for our benefit.

thanks jackson, in my opinion Yes you should branch out =)

  • I'm ok if ur ok. So make any videos u want

  • I would absolutely love some web tutorials. I plan to eventually major in some sort of programming or computer science. (i'm still in high school right now, but I know a LOT of CSS.. no Java at all :/... would love to learn though! would love to learn PHP and XHTML.. whatever that is.. c++ too? :D)

  • You're an English teacher? Awesome! I absolutely love grammar :-) It's my favoriteeeeeeeeeeee! but your school starts july 11? GOD. that's horrid! mine starts August 1.. but only because I'm having to move into a dorm so I have to be there early... school won't start until August 9th or so.

  • Oh yeah, I personally don't mind. :) My high school is technology based, so please, I need all the help I can get.

  • I'd be really glad to see you and some Inkscape tuts.I like and have saved every one you've made so far. You could read a phone book and I'd e happy with it.

  • @gms9810 How about Ijust say the numbers 0-9 and then you can remix it to any phone number you like? :)

  • Comment removed

  • @malgalin My wife would be happy with that. I'll be fine with that or if you just keep making tutorials on anything you want except anything made by Adobe since I can't afford any of it.

  • @gms9810 Ah, yes, Inkscape tutorials would definitely be great!

  • I'd be really glad to see you and some Inkscape tuts.I like and have saved every one you've made so far.

  • You could read a phone book and I'd still watch and enjoy it.

  • i've been watching ur tutorials for a loooong time!!! i love ur tutorials....

u should make more tutorials!!! the people love it, as i love it too!!!

  • Sounds good bro, love the videos.

  • blender tutorials would be cool

  • web design focus would be awesome

  • @HUPROJECT1971 More push-ups? Lunges? For the disenfanchised? More what?

  • @malgalin More inkscape tutorials

  • i wouldn't mind more videos, depending on what they are i might not watch them, but id have no problem with skipping them if it helps other people learn things they want to learn

  • You are great at what you do. Perhaps make a youtube bar picture tutorial?

  • @SamShaps What do you mean by bar picture?

  • I would love to see tutorials on anything interesting from you. You have a great voice for the voice-over part, and you make things easy to follow. I think I would like to see creative tutorials like web design, tutorials using open-source software, and whatever you think we'd find interesting.

  • @dcallstar51 Thanks for your input - Good to hear the opinion of a long-time supporter of the channel!

  • @TheOnlyBeat I'll count that as a neutral vote then, eh? :)

  • whatever you got, bring it. never hurts for me to learn things, never know when i might need/want them.

  • @jmwintenn That's the spirit! Thanks for the comment.

  • i think you should keep this channel for gimp, and make a second channel for different things

  • @MrLtodaZ I currently have three channels...administrating them all is a pain, which is why I would want to consolidate them into one channel

  • I like your Gimp tutorials but also I would like to view tutorials about Inkscape like QuickR suggested or KDEnlive or other free tools that are available for anyone, not just Adobe products (there are numerous of videos teaching Adobe products but I don't see too much tutorials of free tools like Inkscape, Blender or KDEnlive)

Or make polls to help you decide what kind of tutorials to do.

I hope you can understand my point of view.

  • @csrpazzi They would be some of the tutorials I would start to add. I only mentioned Adobe since that's what I use...I wouldn't bother making tutes for Adobe though, since they a) are not free and b) already get enough press.

  • Make Tutorials on open source software so everyone can use the software like blender.... also make tutorials on CSS and HTML

  • @AlexAlanRobinson Definitely the kind of thing I am considering. Also tutorials on making the most out of Social Media.

  • Why not a different channel for different topics?

    Do you use Inkscape? Blender?

  • @QuickR Logging in and out of various channels is annoying, and it is enough of an annoyance to stop me making videos! I would be much less productive as a result.

I've toyed with Blender, but not inkscape. I tend to use Adobe products (I know) the majority of the time, such as InDesign and Illustrator, except for Photoshop (instead of which I primarily use Gimp).

  • I like your gimp tutorials thats why I subscribed to you in the first place.

I know you said in the video that you will keep doing gimp videos/tutorials I would like to see more fun manipulation like the clown your self, or the pop art, or the che your self I found all these and many more fun to do.

Other video ideas, I would like to see. Video manipulation like your gimp vids but with videos. Thats all I got at the moment.

  • @letseewhathappens101 Since you prefer the fun ones...I'm currently making a Hulk tutorial...should be up in the next day or so!
