The hospital is still 'open' just not the original buildings. My mom worked there for 36 years(and I was a volunteer for 4yrs) and retired in 2004, in which she worked in the Strozzi building. Shes told me about the Richardson bldg that closed after she started working there. I just recently saw a few of her friends that still work there, in which the place(to this day) is now pretty mellow.. I do wish I got a tour of the old buildings in which, I do believe, would be haunted.

@Bllackguard666 yea i was gonna try and get in there i dont even care about getting caught if you try to get in sucess or not your gonna get caught either way going in or out, but as i said i dont care about gettin caught im more worried about the fact its falling apart and although it would be fuckin wicked to get in im not willing to risk my life or even breaking a bone, its just not worth it

I lived across the street on Rees from 1955 to 1977. I seen the patients were in the 3 floors of caged porches when we would ride our bikes thru the grounds and get chased out by the guards, not to mention how you would hear screams from the place at nite.
And can anyone tell me what in Gods name would you need those towers for? I can only imagine the stuff that went on in there from 1880. Shock therapy, lobotomies, etc... I wish Ghost Adventures or Ghost Hunters could do a show from there.
The fence moving was the last anomaly I figured out for myself, and seems the most explainable (wind-maybe). I actually discovered a posting with all of the anomalies described AFTER I had figured them out, and they showed to be the same anomalies I saw for myself by watching them over and over. It is unfortunate this has been closed to public tours, but it does look quite unsafe in places, and other facilities like the Waverly hospital in KY, have way too much cheesy graffiti throughout them.

I can understand how it would be easy to say the film clips are boring,but it took me a long time to notice each and every anomaly,& they are weird and unexplainable really. They are subtle and you really have to pay attention to small details. I would say start with the "Hide and Seek" clip. Look closely at the black tunnel towards the end of the clip. Keep your eye on that black room-watch closely. Watch it several times if you have to, but there's something there.The others are harder to see.

I go to Buff state... and the7 Bus drops me off on the Psych facilities and I always have to walk around this place to get to school... It's mega creepy, especially at night or in the early early morning. Some of the windows are busted through and sometimes some light turn on. But the place is totally empty and there is a large fence around it, but anyone can easily sneak in somehow if they really tried.
