It is not the excess of tuna that can be dangerous to cats but the excess of salt in it. The best tuna cans are not for humans but for animals as they do not content any salt. I buy my cats' tuna at a discount store for almost nothing.

Did you get pulled b/c this video appears to be an advertisement? As your "yodeling," video was quite funny. Also the commentary was hilarious for I doubt many of the "informative chastisers," are volunteers at a "no-kill," shelter. [BTW, have you created a fleet of robotic vacuums? The problem with tuna is that there's no taurine in it which is essential for healthy kitties... It's fine to give you cat tuna but not as a staple diet.

And... To make a long story short - I took her to the cat exhibition, and the experts found out she was a pedigree Siberian kitty! So, an orphan Cinderella kitty turned out to be a Princess :) Don`t know why - but I just wanted to tell you this story :)

Re: canned tuna and cats, I recently read that whether it's the stuff for human or cat consumption, it's now made of fish that are small/young and therefore haven't accumulated too much Mercury yet.

The high Mercury stuff (which is in the large top of the foodchain fish) all now goes to Japan where it picks top dollar/yen. Not in your average can of Sunkist.

And fill THEM up with Mercury...
