do you have to already know somewhat about diesel trucks or do you start from scratch

i did the auto diesel industrial program, i learned alot, but it was expensive, was already making over 100k a year at 25 years old, at 26 was the lead tech for newmont gold and had plenty of oputunities to be the foreman but i would lose about 20k a year, i work on heavy mining equipment.

UTI Great school. I went from 99 to 2000 back when the campus was on west weldon

I am wanting to the Diesels program and have had 2 years of diesels at a High School tech center near where I live. I was wondering how many more years I would have to do since I already got 2 years of it from the Tech Center?
