"It's claimed, not proven" but it's still very plausible. During the SSC's top speed run the driver only managed to bring it up to about 85% to 90% throttle meaning there is still at least 10% throttle left to go. The driver also said the SSC was still accelerating at the end of both of it's runs. There main hindrance was they ran out of straight road.
It's not plausible AT ALL. If you think 10% more throttle travel translates to 10% more speed, you don't understand cars or aerodynamics at all. At those speeds, 10% more POWER (not throttle) may result in 2% more velocity.

you didn't LISTEN the first time did you. The Aero was STILL ACCELERATING at 85% throttle. Meaning that the throttle was held in place at 85% and the car was still accelerating. Also last I checked the difference between 257 and 273 was only 16, witch 16 out of 273 is is more like 6% acceleration Dumbass. with 10% + of throttle left in a still accelerating car 6% is very possible. try learning about cars AND Math before you come back.

You give the engine as much throttle as it can handle at any given time otherwise you hurt your response times. opening the throttle wide open from the start just puts excess gas into the combustion chamber that the spark plugs wont be able to efficiently burn which produce a pressure force that works against both the Valves.

"Ever heard of a MAF sensor?" MAF sensors and sensors in general do FAIL. And they don't always hold consistency at extreme RPM'S or speeds Back pressure WILL eventually happen on ANY engine weather carbed, fuel injected or, electronically fuel injected especially during extreme tests.

Why ALL top speed runners on and even off the the salt flats, with and without fuel injection, ALL use the same tactics for doing top speed runs. They all roll the throttle until Acceleration has come to it's peak. the throttle is only ever floored until AFTER Acceleration drops off, thus squeezing whatever speed the driver can get out of the engine.

"It's claimed, not proven" but it's still very plausible. During the SSC's top speed run the driver only managed to bring it up to about 85% to 90% throttle meaning there is still at least 10% throttle left to go. The driver also said the SSC was still accelerating at the end of both of it's runs. There main hindrance was they ran out of straight road.

It's not plausible AT ALL. If you think 10% more throttle travel translates to 10% more speed, you don't understand cars or aerodynamics at all. At those speeds, 10% more POWER (not throttle) may result in 2% more velocity.

you didn't LISTEN the first time did you. The Aero was STILL ACCELERATING at 85% throttle. Meaning that the throttle was held in place at 85% and the car was still accelerating. Also last I checked the difference between 257 and 273 was only 16, witch 16 out of 273 is is more like 6% acceleration Dumbass. with 10% + of throttle left in a still accelerating car 6% is very possible. try learning about cars AND Math before you come back.

You give the engine as much throttle as it can handle at any given time otherwise you hurt your response times. opening the throttle wide open from the start just puts excess gas into the combustion chamber that the spark plugs wont be able to efficiently burn which produce a pressure force that works against both the Valves.

The ASC Ultimate Aero is't a Bonneville salt flat racer, clown. It's a ROAD car with modern fuel injection which was run on a ROAD with plenty of traction. There's absolutely NO reason to "roll on" the power, especially where space is limited. Read your channel comments, get a clue, and stop being such a pain in the ass, please.

Why ALL top speed runners on and even off the the salt flats, with and without fuel injection, ALL use the same tactics for doing top speed runs. They all roll the throttle until Acceleration has come to it's peak. the throttle is only ever floored until AFTER Acceleration drops off, thus squeezing whatever speed the driver can get out of the engine.

And as for Road Cars Vs Salt Flat Cars. I have already Explained in a previous comment how People DO run MODERN Road cars on the salt flats (WITH FUEL INJECTION) to test top speeds. IN FACT, Many Car companies use to (and some still do) use the Salt Flats frequently to test a new model's top speed And Also how the Tactics for throttle control do not differ between purpose built salt runners and the every day road cars. It's called a COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS not a "hypocrisy" as you like to say.
