i was in safe way last week and this lady couldn't afford to pay for her grocery's she had three daughters with her and they looked like they where all suffering. so the casheir asked her to pay or leave. No one did anything but just watch. as i stood there something in my head screamed this is wrong HELP HER!! so i did i paid for her grocery's. as i helped her put them in the cart i looked at everyone watching. in my eyes they where all cowards

Thats right people, if you don't want dying people in Africa we cant have billionaires in america, but since thats the only way it works..

@spilledinsanity Capitalism was the only way I was able to get my parents out of poverty. They lived in a socialist country. When my mom and dad got here. we were poor and was still poor growing up. I went to college. Worked full time at kraft and went to a private colllege. Kraft paid my tutition. Now I am a CPA and earn 6 digit salary. My mom and dad can spend the remaining years of life in peace and comfort.

@HayateAzekura I understand that but you need to realize that "socialism" in other places is NOT socialism, they are even more capitalist than the united states. They just used the word socialism to get the workers to support their agenda. I'm glad things worked out for you here, but America also funds "socialist" terrible places like China by buying their slave labor products.

@spilledinsanity I understand your point of view though. But every system has always created poor and rich. There is no system in the entire Earth's history, that has created absolute equality. There is always really rich and really poor. Africa's problems can be attributed to capitalism but there are also other forces, many,many forces out there that make this place such a mess.

"World Vision" what a business... you say you save 30 000 children a year from dying, thats really good - for your business! cause that means there will be more children to save next year and the land can support them even less... How do you get people to see through your smoke & mirrors when it;s public knowledge that only 9.32% of your total takings has to actually go to charity? Believe it or not, European societies went through the same not that long ago. For many, the only hope for survival is to have many children. Before education became public and affordable, children were a source of labour, and many died at an early age. Read a little history, and maybe you'll change your views.

We should put this on billboards. Make the world accountable for this. We can do so much better . Whats inaccurate? Thier sadness? Hopelessness? Conditions? Their fear. Their confusion? If you have children would you like to put them to bed hungry? That's if they even have a bed. There is no lie in poverty. Compassion is a human trait don't let anyone talk you out of it. They tell you its all thier fault how accuate is that?Come on we know better.

I'm sure you worked hard on this video, however, I'm not quite sure all of these images were taken in the US. Yes, I do recognize extreme poverty exists in America -- I work with homeless families every day, but I find this video to be slightly inaccurate.
