Beautiful , still it made me cry & miss my daddy.. He died 12 years before I got married. & we did it the inexpensive way cuz we had no $. Hubby & I wore hoodies& Santa hats. Black hoodie for hubby& white for me. Our wedding was our gift of our selves during an early Xmas in my in-laws living room. No dress or flowers- I was adamant about it. But now wishing I had :(

I wish I knew about this montage because I would have loved to submit the way my husband propsed to me. It was a perfect day on October 12, 1997 at sunset on top of the World Trade Center with a plane flying by with a banner that said "Vickie, will you marry me? Love, Dave". All the tourists at the top of the WTC were impressed too. We felt like celebrities w/ all the pictures that complete strangers were taking of us.

I remember my science teacher telling about her proposal. As I remember her telling us the story, her boyfriend hid a card in a plant, and on the inside, he wrote the words to this very song. When she turned around after reading it, he was down on one knee, an engagement ring held out, and he asked the question "Will you marry me?" She was crying, and at first didn't believe it was happening in real life. In the end, she said yes.

Only straight couples? Really? I understand that throughout most of the US, same-sex marriage is not yet possible, but it is out there, albeit underappreciated. I kept waiting to see one - just one! - same-sex couple in there, but I was really let down. I'm not surprised, but disappointed. Now to see what kind of sh*tstorm this comment kicks up.

@andromedeia I'd assume it has to do with a very small percentage of same-sex couples who sent in their videos/pictures. These were all fans' wedding stories, and they probably just didn't receive a lot of same-sex wedding pics or videos, and I'm sure they wanted them of a certain picture quality too. I'm not saying that is definitely what happened, but I don't see a legitimate reason to make any judgments.
