the funny for me in this expancion is the.. weapon to climb up or down from buildings.. the gas mask and the gas weapon ;) the bad of the BF2 is the part of can't play a map for 64 players (Like all the maps from BF1942 where you can play 32 vs 32 included maps like Omaha Beach where the number it's like a Bath of blood)

Ah the glory days... remember when you had to work together as a coordinated team to win in Battlefield? Then Bad Company stripped that away to make it more like CoD. I was hoping Battlefield 3 would bring back the need for teamwork. I played the beta and sadly, they did not. Battlefield 2 will forever be the best shooter out there, and no matter how graphically advanced the series becomes, BF2 will always reign supreme.

Oh and about that theres no team work on Bad Company or the BF3, i personally can't win any matches if im not using team work. It's about who you play with, because if you play with right people then you can use teamwork on cod or in any other game. But that's my opinion.

My first three real FPS games were, in order, Ghost Recon (original), RAINBOW Six: Covert Ops, and BF2 Modern Warfare.

Now I'm playing ARMA II, and, despite some stark differences, I have to say it brings back memories.

@777Darklight ARMA II is far more realistic than BC2. BF2 is kind of close, but still not quite as realistic, and BF3 can't be determined. It isn't impossible, it's actually pretty easy, you just have to take it slow (part of the realism).

Battlefield 2 and it's expansion packs(including this game) doesn't have any story line at all. But each map has a quick background story but none of the maps fit each other to make a story. However it does feature both multiplayer and singleplayer. Before playing a map there would be a quick briefing about the situation than you just play it either with your friends or with AI's. Both are actually fun to play with :)

@huggy99huggy bad company games werent even bad?... if Bad Company wasnt made, i doubt BF3 would have the single-player in it, neither would their be FROSTBITE engine, or Destruction 1.0, 2.0 and 2.5 (For bf3) so no reason to be hating saying BF3 will be good because it's not bad company. if you really liked the battlefield series you would know that ANY Battlefield game is good, Bad Company or not.

Best game ever. New battlefield games from EA won't be great as was bf 2. Cause BF series is starting to flip into no-brain shooting game like CoD for little kids who can't play with any tactics. Easy ranks easy badges medals. In BF2 I was very happy when I achieved any badge/medal/ribbon it was deserved. Latest battlefield is crap without aircraft and shitty helis :D

I only got BF2 and this expansion, and I loved it. I could only play this a few times before it stopped playing. It was hard putting on the smoke mask before the smoke got to me. But I plan to get the Complete Collection. Battlefield is excellent!

A few days ago I bought the complete collection, and it was well worth it, cause the teamwork on some servers is fantastic, and the intro to SF is soo funny! Before the original, I had the cracked version, soo anyone who considers buying the original, I recommend it!

There's only just one problem, I couldn't register the booster packs cause the activation code is invalid it says, many ppl have this problem, and if someone is kind eneough to explain, we all will be thankfull . EA sometiems sucks

It's an Expansion Pack, you need Battlefield 2.. Plus buying it from EA Download Manager is an even bigger mistake. Just buy it on discs, Battlefield 2 Complete Collection (BF2, SF, Booster Packs) is like 20/25 Euros last time I checked.
