  • Two epics drummers in one band- one of reasons why im habitual foo fighters fan

  • 1:20 Dave's face = PRICELESS

  • This is my second favorite drum piece of all time. The first being the drumline to "Panic Attack" by Dream Theater.

  • any1 got tabs 4 what the guitar is playin there ??

  • @TheOddzNEndz pretty sure its from "Stacked Actors" so just search that tab and look for the part in the song

  • wow. i cannot get enough of this.

  • hey i have posted a walkthrough for:

    1:15 - 1:23 xD

    great job dude

  • any1 knows guitar's notes? :P

  • Fantastic.

  • yawn

  • Fucking lame.

    Yeah, I said it...

I thought these guys were supposed to be good...the idiot in the middle used up too much time, and Dave and Taylor's drums sounded like tin cans. Fucking lame.

  • I agree.

  • @cathoderoy not only are you a tool, you're apparently completely ignorant as far as music goes. yeah, I said it. that "idiot" in the middle is Earl Hudson from Bad Brains, one of Dave Grohl's obvious influences and one of the best rock drummers in existence. he may have used too much time because Dave wanted to fucking feature him, what with him being a legend and all. as for the drum sound--what do you want from a non-studio recording? you're a fucking dumbass.

  • Well, I don't know if I'm "completely ignorant as far as music goes"...I know who the Bad Brains are, and I did check out the "Live Fender's Ballroom CA 1985" vid, (@ 1:30 he does some stuff 1000 times more impressive than anything in this so-called "Best Drum Solo's" video).

I love Dave's playing, as well as Taylor's, but nothing here impressed me and I was disgusted at all the comments saying how "AMAZING!!!" they are. Earl was on timbales, which is tough. Best solo? Watch the video response

  • @cathoderoy FOR THE RECORD--I actually went and checked out your channel after I posted that asshole comment, and I don't think I've ever been so wrong about anyone before in my life. Please forgive me--you're actually the shit. Poe AND The Sheila Divine? You kick ass. My bad. Truce?

  • @athoughtcomes

    your'e gay

  • As far as the video response goes, I tried linking the video of "Two Ton Shoe w/ Dave Dicenso" from my video's as a response to this video, but inadvertently linked it to ANOTHER posting of this exact same video..... and you can only do it once (D'OH!), so fuck it....

Just watch Two Ton Shoe w/ Dave Dicenso in case you haven't seen it before.

  • 1 word

    : awesome!

  • Dave....omG...he'5 playinG drum5...he playeD with kuRt co0bain...he'5 5inging....he write5....wtF....he'5 go0d..!!!!

  • That bass riff adds very well to the INSANE drumming!!!!

  • dave is just incredible...

  • Kurt would be proud

  • 2:19

    Dave Haveing A nirvana Flashback.

    RIP Kurt.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • i love the black guy by taylor hawkins :D

  • AMAZING :))) !

  • 1:16 - 1:23 is by far my favourite part, i love triplets!

  • agree! xDD

  • Fuckin love this duel here, I can't decide whether I like the call and response part better or when they both just go fucking crazy at the end

  • Dave looks so much better without all the facial hair...

  • dave grohl is a fucking beast at 2:19

    jesus would be proud

    :)

  • dude every time i watch this it blows me away

  • i like grohl better at drum. 1:16 ~ 1:21

  • this would be so much better if that black guy would stop banging on that fucking snare

  • stacked actors :)

  • i always pictured hawkins as more of a keith moon and grohl as more of a john bonham.

  • yup, there both like the same, but whats with the random black guy there/?

  • Its Earl Huddson from Bad Brains. they are one of Dave Grohls inspirations.

  • @yeatsg i'm sorry do you think you could rephrase that..didn't really make much sense

  • @yeatsg

You know what's funny is that there was a Led Zeppelin show where Keith drummed along side of Bonham. It's on youtube somewhere!

  • fucking awesome.

  • SHIT..

    THIS IS AWSOME..

  • or whats the name of the song

  • stacked actors.

  • were can i get the tabs or sheet music for the bass part

  • dis is musical genius!

  • love it :)

  • Why did the other version of this get taken down? This shit is tight

  • why isn't earl hudson listed in the title?

  • Coz for me he ruins it, he plays over the top of the only drumming we wanna hear
