She obviously shouldn't be firing this weopon. Looks like she is barley gripping it which spells fear, which can get you dead. Hope you got her a Colt or something more manageable.
@TheErickkkk She is not "barely griping" it. She is just relaxed because I told her that every shot should be an unexpected surprise when you pull the trigger. And that is a good way to hit the target. The gun is not going to jump out of her hands :-), and you should see the grouping she got on the target. She put all of them in 6" diameter. Although I am not a professional shooter, but I think that squeezing the gun too hard and anticipated recoil is what make most shooters fail.
Check out Natasha shooting the same exact gun - hollow points vs a gallon of water. By the way I probably already put 2000 rounds through it and it never jammed or malfunctioned. I guess it did it in this video because it was new at that time or the ammo was bad.
@DRCsyntax No, I did not figure it out. I suspect it was a bad round that misfired, because the round stayed in the barrel and when she pulled the trigger it hit the primer but nothing happened.
@DRCsyntax I kinda looks like her thumb was a bit high on the slide, perhaps slowing the slide down, seems like it could have caused it to not cock back far enough to get the next round ready
@ScSSwav You are right! It does look it at 0:55, wow I have never thought of that. Wouldn't that hurt her thumb pretty bad though? Have you ever done it or have you even seen that happen before? She was so excited to be shooting that I would not be surprised if she didn't even notice it. Although I am not positive, but I think when I pulled the slide back after the misfire the round was in the barrel and it ejected. Can not say 100% for sure. Great observation!
lol really good vid, but i especially enjoy at the end with the misfire "thats it?" she sounded so dissipointed :( oh well pop another mag in that bitch!
these are some incredible guns... the shooter could use some practice however i have one of these 9mms and its about the best shooting gun ive had im almost as accurate with it as my grandpa with his 1911 (incredible shots from that one) anyway all around great gun finely balanced and despite other peoples thoughts i personally find it to be rather light
@MasterBarnes This is the second or maybe the third time she shoots a gun, so it might be just lack of experience, and as somebody mentioned a more aggressive stance would probably help (when you lean forward instead of leaning back). The gun is very well balanced and I would even say a bit too heavy for its size, but the ammo is regular 9mm. I do not have such a recoil when I shoot it. But Alina sure makes it look like Magnum 45 when she fires it ;-)
@MasterBarnes Also I explained to her that she should relax and a shot should be a "surprise" for her. I did this to prevent her from flinching. So she might have taken it too far by barely holing on to a gun. Notice how she does not flinch at all when gun misfires on the 7th round. I was amazed how accurate a beginner shooter can be just by NOT squeezing the hell out of the gun and NOT flinching because of the anticipated recoil. She put all 6 rounds in a 6" diameter from 15 yards. Wow!
@MasterBarnes when shooting a pistol accuratly its actually the best thing you can do! Holding it in your hand as less firmly as possible and being "surprised" by the shot is how to do it like a pro, while holding it to firmly while make your gun trembling!
@commonsense369 I'm not a firearms instructor, but theese have told me. You don't even have to be one to know this. It's basic shooting knowledge and the same with every firearm! Being surpriced by the shot is the best thing you can do, when shooting a gun. And well, I'm Private First Class in the Swiss army and about to go to the officers school in Bern, so I know a little bit about shooting real firearms, such as e.g. the SIG 550 assault rifle, known to be the worlds best of its kind.
Why do so many female shooters lean back in such a contorted manner when they shoot? The perceived recoil would be less if they would lean into it in a more aggressive stance.
So I do not know if that was the ammo quality or a problem with beretta px4 storm. I never had this problem after that with the quality ammo I bought not at the range. Sometime it woudl fire and leave a round in the chamber half way in, jamming the gun. As I said I love this berreta px4 storm and we went through at least 1000 by now since I purchased it - rapid fire and everything - not a single jam.
i bought the .40 cal version of this gun several months ago and when i shot winchester ammo it jammed several times. i took it to a gunsmith and they suggested higher quality ammo and it has never jammed since.
The gun did not fire on the 7th round there were only 6 shots fired and it did not go off on the 7th. There were 10 rounds in the clip and it happened twice, each time with a newly loaded clip.

holding the gun too loose, not getting high up enough on it, limp wristing. the sum of which is crap recoil control.
