  • "Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976" this is not "fair use" and your preposterous disclaimer wont save you if they ever decide to pursue it.

  • the period shows itself. Chevy 1.5 ton trucks, 03 Springfield rifles. Very good all the way around.

  • My oh my, how boot camp has changed...

  • @ 28:43 I love the X-Ray Machine and how they stand right there at the X-Ray Table. As Bones on Star Trek would say, "How Barbaric!" LOL!

  • Thanks for uploading this movie. You gotta love the early war world 2 movies.

    Keep them coming

  • Randolph Scott was gay,Scott and Cary Grant who was bi-sexual met in the early 30's and they had an 11 year relationship.Scott married his second wife in 1944 and the marriage lasted for 43 years untill his death and they adopted 2 children.

  • Good movie with Randolph Scott, Maureen O'hara, and John Payne. Randolph Scott was not gay he was married, had children and was a Christian. Get your facts straight.

  • @Multi1mark

your logic therefore is he was married, had kids and was a christian therefore he could not possibly have been gay or bisexual, are you mad

  • @donnyab =fag

  • @jetsgiants

I have never been compared to a cigarette before

  • @donnyab rothman's

  • it was a good movie for its era

  • The proper command is "Rear March" not "To the rear march" Thought all you x gyroarines, would like to know. Army 1966 thru 1969

  • There's a major history goof in the opening scene: Gunny Dixie Smith is lecturing the recruits on how Stephen Decatur was saved by a Marine's 'leatherneck' taking a sabercut from a Tripolian sailor. A disagreement ensues between GySgt Smith and private Johnny Dent about the names of the 'marines' who saved Decatur (Ruben James of Daniel Frazier).

Neither James nor Frazier were ever US Marines; they were both US Navy sailors.

  • randolph scott and the gay marines

  • @jethro035181 Marines arent gay kid...

  • @Marinesofairsoft1121 ...randolph scott was gay and the actors in this film act like it

  • @jethro035181 OH THE ACTORS yes they act gay all old movies usually make teh actors look gay but as for Marines hell no.

  • Terrible depiction of USMC boot camp. And believe me, I know........

  • Wait a minute... I thought that sargeants hate to be called, 'sir'...

  • its Col, Potter (54:19) with out white hair

  • @educatedrock his first movie role, he was maybe 27

  • 0:24:00 "You men are moving into tents today, so pick yourselves a wife". I don't think anybody would say that now, even if the US Army has recently become much more liberal about such goings-on. It would be much less obviously a joke now. That little fellow needed to go back to drama school if indeed he ever had any lessons. Director's nephew perhaps?

  • Er, yes, just a little different from Full Metal Jacket.

  • God i love this movie

  • The MCRD in San Diego! I was there in '71.

It's closed basically but still intact!

  • Gorgeous transfer!

    Many thanks!

  • Love this film! Dixie Smith is such a cool personage :)

  • I've always enjoyed John Payne, Maureen O'Hara, and Randolph Scott. Would you have anymore movies featuring any of them?
