There are ways they could be able to fly, For example the only reasons bees can fly is because of the rotating motion of their wings, dragons could do this. Also they may have adapted to be able to fly by gasses produced in their stomachs which filter into a sack, such as methane ect, also allowing them to breathe fire!

Well, i dont know if dragons existed or not. But my land has a long history with these creatures. Our first writen text describes all of our tribes, one of them was the "Draganos" people. Also, our first flag had a Dragon simbolizing northern Portugal (and a Lion for Galicia). Still today, our major footbal team - FC Porto has a Dragon for a symbol and their supporters are called the dragons... and many more examples... Who knows.. maybe they really existed! best regards

Just because we have not yet found them doesn't mean they don't exist. EVERY SINGLE culture around the world, and all through out time, has had some kind of reference to dragons. And how many dinosaur species do we have whose only proof of existence is a single back molar, or a single leg bone. @SnowlectricDragon One thing I considered is that the processes inside their body that allowed them to fly (given body mass to wingspan), and breath flame may have lead to such an acidic buildup that the process of necrosis lead to this to become unstable and dissolve most of the remains. Or perhaps they are just ahrd to find. Even with the well known dinosaurs, there are so few bones actually found anyway.
