  • Fantastic work here!!

  • You guys Rock!

  • nice !!

  • That was really wonderful guys, thanks!

  • Real nice sounding instruments, your playing is very tasty. Some Vestal flavour in the banjo picking boy. Your single string stuff sounds darn good. Is there any mean that I could get some tablature of both the tunes

  • that is a very tricky song you had a look of relief after you played that solo.lol

  • could you do a lesson on this for banjo? im having a tough time learning it

  • Where can I get the Tab for this exact arrangement that you played on the banjo..great job

  • Very nice gentlemen. This is one of my favorite tunes and you guys play it well. Nice crisp and clean sound. Of course, you wouldn't expect anything less from Gibson and Weber. Thanks again for sharing this. I hope to see more, Jesse

  • Excellent. Love that pure acoustic sound.

  • What brand and type of microphone are you using? The sound is very natural.

  • @southerncrescent1401 A Zoom H2.

  • 5*!

  • YEAHHHHHHH

  • I absolutely love this. Great tune I had to replay it a good 3 times.

  • I am glad to see that you all follow your own ways even though it's a pity you probably won't play together as you used to... (well I think that sentence is not good English)

The video is great, I was captivated.

  • Who is headed to VT?

  • @coolvtfly cole the madolin player. or i should say--hopefully headed to VT. he hasn't heard back from dartmouth yet. (just realized possible confusion; I meant vermont vt not virginia tech)

  • @coolvtfly Cole (mandolin) is, as it turns out, going to virginia tech.

  • That was really good!!!

  • outstanding mando work!

  • amazing stuff guys

  • That was great!

  • awesome job guys!

  • This is as good as it gets. When is your band going to hit the festival circuit ?

  • @gdcgcgad Thanks! Unfortunately the answer is likely never. We're all seniors in high school, and headed to NC, IN, and VT for college.

  • @200000028 NOOOOO!! Does this mean we won't hear any more collaborative gems like this? Who's going to IN? Carson or Alex?.

  • @200000028 unfortunately is the correct response to that :)) would love to see you guys play sometime the world needs more decent guy playing decent tunes. like you all do. But I suppose you shouldn't limit your option though either good luck with whatever you do. The music will always be there thanks for all the Vids you have posted

  • basic question - how do you synch the audio from the Zoom and the video from the Flip? oh yeah, great playing by both of you!

  • @harrylook I'd like know about the syncing too?

  • @harrylook Well, I put both tracks into windows movie maker (comes with all windows computers but isn't great) and slide the audio track around by minute amounts until it's in time with the video. a bit of a pain.

  • @200000028 Reading how you mix the audio and video, if you use a marker (like a clacker you see for movies or even just clapping) you can dolly down the audio waveform for the audio and video and align the spike that corresponds with the clap. Makes it a little easier to sync together

  • @HudsonRyde you know, I think I've heard someone mention that before but I've never done it. Makes way more sense. I'll try it next time, thanks for the tip!

  • Very nice gents.. thanks! It make me feel better that it took you a few tries to get it. I always assumed you always nailed it on the 1st take.

  • Wow. Beautifully played.

  • Nice balance between the mando and the banjo! Good volume too.
