this is three years ago. do you still have this guitar? has the gold hardware tarnished or faded any since then?

@GuitarLord3000 the pick ups appear to be silver now, due to time, the hardware however does still have a good amount of gold on it still. and at time the pick ups can appear gold as well.

@awsomeguy96 no not really man, i just still had the plastic cuz i liked it, eventually the gold will rub off but thats nothing fatal, its a sick guitar ang hope u enjoy yours as much as i do.

@JoSeDbZcOoL off the back in my opinion gibsons are the best but very expensive, if you want the same guitar for a fraction of the price get an epiphone, the last time i checked the guitar is still online and they lowared the price to abou 200, without the case though.

@ladderqueen27 the first song i tried is also my favorite and thats crazy train, it sounds really sweet, metallica sounds great, but keep in mind thats its not just the guitar but the amp as well, i have a peavy vyper 15. that cost only 90 bucks.

@ladderqueen27 yea you can do that, of course it will cost a little more to ship it but im pretty sure you can do that with FEDEX. if the special is still there and if your uncle are willing to do it, go for it!! my parents send things to our family in Mexico all the time,

I was thinking of buying this guitar, I don't have enough for the Epiphone Les Paul Alpine White Custom, because that's like £500, would you recommend this guitar? It hardly looks different.

this guitar is great for anyone who wants a les paul, the total price was about 450 dollers, but it came with a free hardshell case, those usally cost alround 60 dolllers, i got it off the guitar center website, there are other colors, apline white, cherry red, or black. if you want a great guitar for a great price, i highly recomend this guitar, mine only had one problom, the gold polish started to rubb off after a few days, but i expected that. it sounds great. hope i could help.
