Smallville was SO BORING before Season 7. I tried but could never get into it and now I know why. Starting with Season 7 it stopped being Smallville and became a different show. Same actors but the focus was different and it barely ever featured Smallville. They should have just renamed it Metropolis since right now he does EVERYTHING Superman does besides fly and wear the classic costume ((But even then he has several costumes as of now on the show) and is predominantly in Metropolis now.

I REALLLYYYYY want Kristin Kreuk back, or at least a better Lois, I'm not really feeling this one. I love Lois and Clark. I don't like the direction on the show, it's more about fighting then Clark becoming superman(emotions) and stuff, now it's basically superman without the name and without the flying. I really liked how it used to be.
To clare things up. The Jimmy Olsen we see on Superman movies isnt the one on Smallville. Thats Henry who gets killed. Jimmy is much younger when we see him with Superman. That explains why he died. She got her info wrong, he is not the only one able to but was the only one to successfully kill Superman. But Doomsday/Superman both can not be killed their vitals just slow to a crawl allowing them to heal quicker so it seems like they are dead.

I always thought since chloe had so much of a thing for clark that she would have left smallville early got a job at the daily planet, changed her name to lois lane, and her looks maybe with some surgery and wait for clark to show up there so she could finally have her one true love. but season 5 ruined that idea since they brought lois in the picture. now before clark has even become superman,there are starting to get a thing going and its totally disagreeing with the mythos.
there was on episode where clark started to realise that he liked cloe, but then jimmy appeared so he wouldnt do anything.
remember that episode where clark and louis danced and nearly kissed, why the hell did the writers include that scene, when for the ENTIRE rest of the season they never brought that moment up again.

One of the first things the writers ever said about the show was 'No flights, no tights'.
Admittedly he had flown as Kal-El and not Clark, however at the end of Season 8 he did use the 'Clark Kent is dead' line, as he did in the opening episode of Season 4, right before he flew for the first time.
Personally I would love to see him fly off into the sunset at the end of the very last episode, to the Superman theme tune. Maybe I'm just sad, lol.

Just wanted to ask a question to all the SV fans, is anyone upset about the show now being on fridays instead of thursdays and if the show is really in its final days, then the cw is prepared because this season it has a lot of new shows, for instance the vampire dariries, OOps spelled that wrong but you know what show im talking about and the other show life something. All im saying is that if the end is near for SV then they are setting up the replacemnt shows now. Please respond back to this

Lana leaving was ok cuz clark is meant to be with lois and we all know that, but lex leaving, That doesnt fit well with me cuz there is no superman without lex, even in the movie superman returns lex is there so why is he gone now. Sometimes the writers of this show throws me off with the storyline..... Im still a fan but a confused fan

The way it ended last season should not end hte way it did, so theres clearly a continuation for season 9th, which will be pretty interesting. Not to mention Zod will be in the storyline.

From what i've understood, they will introduce an earlier version of Zod, before he became a general. I'm not sure how or why... but it sounds that it's a brand new reincarnation of Zod

According to spoilers, they aren't going to let him fly.... yet. But they kinda want to explain why he doesn't fly at this point. Duh! Coz he didn't pass his training at fortress yet!
Why? Simple: flying Clark = more money on special effects + harder to control storyline beacuse they can't call him "Superman" due to copyright issues :)

Yeah, I get the point. I wish some of these eople could get the point. BUT STILL, this will be a very exiting season and I can't wait! However, I have seen the comic con and they did say they have been talking about it, though.

Jeeez, thanks. Got tired of Lana throughout the series as she became very irritating. Better focus on Lois as she is Superman's primary love interest according to story.

A promising season 6, very dissapointing season 7 and "so-so" season 8.
I bet season 9 will suffer from lack of decent storyline as well. Yet we (fans) still hope to get some piece of nice action :)

season 8 was a major dissapointment, it had so much potential but every episode was just an anticlimax.
is season 9 is the last season, at least turn clark into the REAL superman, and stop all the other bullshit that smallville keeps focusing on.

In the season ending when he fought Doomsday didn't he fly, he made a superleap which is like one of his powers because he can't fly yet.

I always thought since chloe had so much of a thing for clark that she would have left smallville early got a job at the daily planet, changed her name to lois lane, and her looks maybe with some surgery and wait for clark to show up there so she could finally have her one true love. but season 5 ruined that idea since they brought lois in the picture. now before clark has even become superman,there are starting to get a thing going and its totally disagreeing with the mythos.

there was on episode where clark started to realise that he liked cloe, but then jimmy appeared so he wouldnt do anything.
remember that episode where clark and louis danced and nearly kissed, why the hell did the writers include that scene, when for the ENTIRE rest of the season they never brought that moment up again.

Are people used to having Clark Kent super speed other than flying??? What would you guys think if he started to fly?? I want to see to fly but part of me thinks that the show wont be the same if he started to fly? It would be cool if he flew in his original costume as an end clip when they stop making smallville.

One of the first things the writers ever said about the show was 'No flights, no tights'.
Admittedly he had flown as Kal-El and not Clark, however at the end of Season 8 he did use the 'Clark Kent is dead' line, as he did in the opening episode of Season 4, right before he flew for the first time.
Personally I would love to see him fly off into the sunset at the end of the very last episode, to the Superman theme tune. Maybe I'm just sad, lol.

BIG SPOILER BATMAN is said to appear in a cross world teamup as well as the green lanturn. there will be 35 episodes in the season........
