But as screenwriter, I think maybe George Lucas is even better than Christopher Nolan now: Star Wars and Indiana Jones went down in history, Inception, The Prestige, Memento, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight not yet instead. Anyway I believe Nolan is very talented and he will win the Academy Award in ten years. He's great both as director and as screenwriter.

@iperwindron George Lucas is a very bad screen writer. His best work was American Graffiti and Indiana jones...well Raiders and the last crusade. Empire strikes back was the only good star wars film because it wasn't directed by Lucas. Episode 1,2,3 were a absolute terrible. Lucas is a sap for cash. Sorry that's my two cents.

Maybe I haven't made myself clear: the word "screenwriter" isn't appropriate for what I want to mean. I mean that Lucas had great ideas, great stories, as Nolan (Inception), even if his scripts aren't amazing. If Lucas' ideas had been developed by Nolan, we would have seen the most beautiful movies ever: imagine Star Wars in Inception style!
