  • maravilhoso!!!

  • wonderful!!

  • I wish they could finally get the kinks out of the story and get it back on the stage. Chess is the greatest. The Danish cast recording (sung in English is the most complete) Forget the terrible Broadway version that ruined it.

  • The music is, of course, what later turned out to be

'Heaven Help My Heart'. So it's nice to know this lovely melody

was actually used in the musical.

  • wow where can i get the cd

  • Tryouts! It's good to know how those hits were made.Right? Would you like to hear your words hooking up your man/woman.Trying something looking at a mirrow.... Get my point?

  • This could've been a big ABBA hit ... it gets under your skin and just stays there. Love it!

  • CHESS is wonderful!

  • The music is truly amazing isn't?

  • YES!!!!

  • Yes, it's her. It was gonna be an ABBA song, but was put aside for the show. The song is just her, Benny, and a drum machine. I have this on an ABBA and Chess bootleg. These kinds of albums usually have poor quality anyway, but are hunted down by hungry fans.

  • There are some better versions than this. But I have this from an other bootleg album call Opus 10. But not for sale.

  • Funny how the title "Opus 10" title occured since it would have been the 9th ABBA album - they only did 8.

  • Unless, as the reporter did, you discard "Ring Ring" (which wasn't really an official ABBA album at the time), which leaves seven, and count both of the greatest hits compilations (Vol.1, 1975; Vol.2, 1979), which makes nine, plus the supposed new album = Opus the tenth. :P

  • Could be. But maybe also they counted the 8 + the Björn/Benny-only album "Lycka" - The girsl sing on that as well.

  • l don't think they would've counted the Vol1+2's.

  • Opus 10 is actually a bootleg.

  • Well, yes, but the name of the bootleg originated from the "Opus 10" myth that's been floating around since 1982.

  • Another way to explain the title would be to count their albums from "Ring Ring" to "The Visitors" and then add "Gracias Por La Musica".

Best-Of albums like Greatest Hits were released constantly by ABBA but never included new songs (ok, except by More ABBA Gold + I Am The City). But to release the Gracias-LP they had to go into the studio again to record the Spanish vocals and mix them.

Another possibility is that the author simply did wrong/ no research and didn´t know the number of albums.

  • Great!

  • I am happy to hear something new for me sang by Agnetha.

  • "Opus 10" was never a title invented by ABBA. The misunderstanding comes from a newspaper article from 1982, where a journalist refers to the follow-up to "The Visitors" which would be ABBAs tenth album. Not ever considered by either ABBA nor Polar.

  • sometomes i think i would have preferred abba on "opus 10" instead of the musical"chess". i would die to hear agnetha+frida singing "i know him so well". "every good man wasn´t finished but sounds so great. thank you abbaanonymus.

  • i get your point but elaine and barbara do good job at singing chess songs (plus abba had split by then) ! plus frida and agnetha where doing solo albums at time !

  • Awesome!!!

  • Beautiful!
