Loved these guys and Dime's still the greatest. I saw Damageplan in St. Pete a few weeks before Dime died. They were getting off the bus crossing the street when I came around the corner in my S2000. I had to slam the brakes to avoid hitting them. They were laughing and I cranked up their song and they gave the horns. Point of the story is I could have accidently been the guy who killed Dime! That would have been the worst ever to live with...

Atlantic Canada doesn't get too many bands, and those we do get, most of them do a half-assed show. Damageplan looked to give it their all at every stop on the East Coast with Dime shredding his guitar to Hell and back. That was passion, and it's a shame somebody who played their best wherever, whenever was killed when he was intent on doing his best for a very long time.
