This one perfectly captures the takeoff experience in 737-800's. Love the throttle response and acceleration of the modern hi bipass engines. One can even feel that rough ground effect in the 1st 20 - 30ft of altitude!

@MrAUFANATIC, The engines don't heart your ear, it is the rapid change in pressure during takeoff, and it does not hurt at all, you might feel a little crack in you ear for a second as your ear adjusts to the pressure change. But it is a good idea to chew gum since you are making it easier for you ear to adapt to the rapid pressure change. Have fun in your flight and don't worry about your ears hurting during takeoff. @jetairways773 One time I was flying to Arizona...We stopped in Chicago on a connecting flight....And this was on Southwest Airlines...We left Chicago around 9pm...And about an hour into the flight...The plane started shaking and I looked outside and all I saw was complete darkness...The only light I saw was the light on the wingtip and the wing was shaking...I closed my eyes and wouldnt even let go of the arm rest...I was literally freaking out...They had to drop the oxygen mask on my seat

Yeah. I always love flying in general, but I always like flying at dawn, dusk, or night because like you said about the lights. I like seeing the Navigation Lights on, the Anti-Collision/Rotating Beacon Light blinking, the Strobes blinking, and the landing lights lit up.

man what a takeoff-smooth. now midway is comming to boston this fall to termenel e. at the old northwest gate. they moved to term a with delta. with service to -chi-midway- orlando -and bwi. to start then add flights later. is midway near 59th st, and is there a bus to get to ohara-or just taxi or metro train.
