Any of you fellows had any joy mounting OSX in Virtualbox? I've been having trouble getting it to work. i heard that the software scans the computer to ensure it's Apple which might have something to do with it but I see from this video that there's a workaround. unless of course the maker of this video has a virtual console running Ubuntu in a mac and mac OSX and XP running inside virtual consoles on that if that's even possible.

Yes, the great thing about ubuntu (and all other linux OS's) is that there FULLY custimizable say you just want the basic terminal (which could run on aslow as 32 mb of ram) you can or if you want a basic gui and no specal effects or even make ubuntu look like your fav OS with Gnome themes.

How he did it: he used sun xVM VirtualBox to make a "virtual pc" within ubuntu.

How can you do this: even if you don't use ubuntu you can still do this on windows or mac, just install virtualbox (google it) and download any OS cd and then install the operating system(there are many tutorials on this web page)

Would someone inform ninjaskater11223 that Windows is 'awesome' games because software makers are locked into serving MS's OS dominance. Windows runs more games than Linux may be fairer comment. We have the same issue with hardware compatibility, although Ubuntu and Linux in general is bridging the gap... or better, hardware makers are bridging it for them in light of growing Linux popularity and the less than rosy early impressions of the very late Vista.
