mortal kombat 1, 2, 3 and umk3 are the best fighting games ever, but when you look et mk4 and all other mk games like mk vs dc . those games are SHIT.

Boon, you need to pull out MK 1 and play for a few hours to remember what the game was SUPPOSE to feel like. How raw and brutal the experience was but how simple it was to play. Lately you have been over-complicating every MK game. The casual gamer has left MK.

People keep complaining about Armageddon was...it wasn't supposed to be a main game in the series...take it as Trilogy part 2 because that's what it pretty much was, just the final game on that generation of consoles before the next big game comes out 2 years later...

You're right, I own Gold and play it pretty often on my still working Dreamcast...it's the most perfect version of MK4, even better than the arcade one.

I hated Killer Instinct but it would've been a million times better than DC comics because DC comics doesn't allow the decimation of their characters but the company that made Killer Instinct would have allowed it...but KI stopped existing ages ago due to it never being too popular at all...it would've had to be against another still running fighting franchise...

HOPEFULLY after this one we'll see Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter. I think they should i mean look at Street Fighter 4. They also already have their new look for the characters and it looks as good as mk vs dc. That to me and pretty much everyone who likes fighting games would be a DREAM COME TRUE.

I hated Killer Instinct but it would've been a million times better than DC comics because DC comics doesn't allow the decimation of their characters but the company that made Killer Instinct would have allowed it...but KI stopped existing ages ago due to it never being too popular at all...it would've had to be against another still running fighting franchise...

i`m more of a MK fan than a DC fan and this idea doesn`t sound bad at all. it is a great way for them to give us something different and for them to have more time to work on MK8. and i believe if they don`t screw up the fighting mechanics this game will be as awesome as Marvel Vs Capcom so people should just give this time to see how things turn out.

I hate Ed Boon. He killed all that is known of MK and its legacy with this new shit idea.
Its soo childish. I'm still shocked to know this isn't a joke. Theres MK fans. Theres DC fans. 2 COMPLETELY different types. DC fans will expect Superman to be all powerful as he should. MK fans will expect to rip Superman's head off during fatality time. Neither will be granted in this game. Which then equals to pissed off and disgruntled fans. PERIOD. <_<

This isn't the next installment of MK. Remember what this game is...a crossover, not Mortal Kombat 8. Sure there's not much NEWS about MK 8 but i mean come on, no shit ofcourse not. They want to make sells with this game first. Think about it if they decided to announce MK 8 coming out after this one then no one is going to want to buy MK VS DC.

Hmm i suspect the more interest characters from DC would be the villains. I know there are lots of heroes from Marvel, but DC?
Anyway here is a list of characters, capable of combat, i predict we'll see in tis game.
Batman, Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern,
Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy and Scarecrow.
Sorry I dunno much bout Superman n Flash villains. =P

Martian Manhunter is a shapeshifter much like shang shung.Why not have Shang morph into characters only from the MK universe and have Martian Manhunter only morph into characters from the DC universe.
