  • Shit shaq plays exactly like Dwight

  • A nice break from Da Bullssss

  • FUCK ALL US HATERS H-TOWN STAND UP BACK TO BACK HATERS

  • It would be so sweet if Olajuwon fans and Jordan fans had two or three finals matchups to talk about. No debates just battles.

  • @moneyaat I rooted against both teams in the 90's but i always think about that. They would have been the Bulls biggest challenge.

  • @moneyaat

    Guess well never know.

    Probably would have been epic.

  • orlando will NEVER win a championship. so dwight minus well leave.

  • akeem for 3! sent chills down my spine

  • the bulls never eliminated the rockets they never played in the finals so how can u say jordan is the reason rockets didnt win the other years. some other teams were the reason thats all there is too it. sorry jordan fans thats just the facts

  • Comment removed

  • Hakeem O. = GOAT Center of all time.

  • i strongly believe this happened because of mj's absence.. i dont care about those two top rated comments of that two motherf*ckers.

  • @upasgeneration The reality is the Jordan avoided losing to the Rockets.

  • @tre9234 if that so, why werent the rockets able to win the championship during the 1991-1993 season/playoffs and the 1996-1998 season/playoffs.. it's because of jordan's presence, you just can't face the fact that mj's the greatest and you're just a pathetic rockets/olajuwon fan... :)

  • @upasgeneration it had nothing to do with jordan why they did not win cause at no point where the rockets eliminated by the bulls so i dont see how u can make that argument

  • @upasgeneration You're a pathetic IDIOT! They weren't in the same conference MORON! They never, ever faced each other in the playoffs. That has NOTHING to w/ MJ's "presence". Why didn't Jordan win from '85-90? Didn't he have his "presence" with him then? And have some respect, ya little 15-year old prick.

  • @upasgeneration Michael Jordan Quotes: "If I had to pick a center, I would take Olajuwon. That leaves out Shaq, Patrick Ewing. It leaves out Wilt Chamberlain. It leaves out a lot of people. And the reason I would take Olajuwon is very simple: he is so versatile because of what he can give you from that position." (Regarding his all-time team)

""It's a good thing those guys can't find their way to the Finals because we don't have an answer for the big guy." (During first three-peat run)

  • @tre9234 ....yea...mike knows big man talent...thats why he drafted kwame brown #1 overall in the 01 draft......hakeem is not as good as shaq....the bulls woulda beaten the rockets....no answer for hakeem?..

hakeem= ousted 4 times by the sonics....what legendary centers did the sonics have in 87,89,93,96...

bulls ousted ewing 5 times....prime mourning 3 straight times...ousted shaq in 96....ousted brad daugherty 4 times, and daugherty was an allstar all 4 of those yrs...bulls=ousted top centers

  • @shaqpopcorn34 FUCK U IDIOT-BEFORE JORDAN RETIRED HE WAS 1-5 AGAINST DREAM WITH HIS TITLE TEAMS-MJ WAS DREAM'S BITCH,EVEN WITH A BETTER TEAM BEHIND HIM,DUMBASS,EVEN JORDAN ADMITTED HE DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO BEAT DREAM,AND SHAQ WAS THE SCORING CHAMP,3 YEAR VET IN '95 WHEN OLAJUWON BEAT HIS ASS

  • @tre9234 mike really said that?!?! Gime a link pls

  • @upasgeneration Had ZERO to do with that. Jordan was back and fine. He dropped 55 on one of the best defenses in the league in his first two weeks back. He was fine. A real man doesn't make excuses.

  • Here's something the Bulls never did! They NEVER swept any of their teams en route to 6 champsionships. #Rocketsftw

  • @thenintendogamer And the Bulls NEVER faced a top or even 2nd tier center in the finals. Please don't throw up Vlade Divac or Elden Campbell, or I'll throw up period.

  • @Ldale11 ....lmaooo...dumbest comment of alltime....bulls never faced a good center in the finals, because those "top centers" werent good enough to make the finals in those 6 years...

mike= 5-0 in series vs ewing.....ousted mourning in 3 straight prime years,95,96,97.....ousted shaq in 96....ousted brad daugherty 4 times, and daugherty was an allstar all 4 of those years....ousted mutombo in 97,who was defensive player of the year.....not the bulls fault top centers couldnt win the west

  • @thenintendogamer You know damn well Magic shoulda neva been to that finals.. Knicks was their only credible championship win

  • @561buRnz407 Oh really, a 6 Seeded team at 47-35 that beat 5 of the top teams in the legue (55+ win teams) including best team in the legue in SA in 6 and best team in the East (2nd overall) in the favored Magic and SWEEPING Shaq and Penny 4-0? Get the hell outta here.

  • @thenintendogamer plus never got into game 7 en route to 6 championships

  • @thenintendogamer So what? Bulls won 6 and Rockets only won 2....'NUFF SAID.

  • @23jordanian And the Celtics won 8 straight at one point. I think this is all common knowledge =)

  • You know it's over when Olajuwon makes a 3.

  • hell yeah, I posted the 666th comment , this is #667.

  • "Olajuwon for 3!" . That was ultimate icing on the cake.

'DaveyJones' makes a great point about the Jordan issue...and if my memory serves correct, Jordan came back to the Bulls in '95 and lost to the Magic in the Playoffs before the Rockets swept those same Magic.

    Regardless, DJ nailed that.

Champs are Champs. Rockets are two-time Champions. Period.

  • lol these teams just got lucky. It wasn´t a real final without the Bulls.

  • @royalsteven Another idiot. NO ONE GETS LUCKY and wins it all! Esp. repeating. Isn't Shaq supposed to be all that for you fools! The Rockets beat him AND his All-NBA point guard AND Horace Grant from your 91-93 Bulls teams. Your comment is a huge FAIL!

  • Ldale11 ....epic posts man.

And as far as I'm concerned nobody in NBA history individually in any given title run.....not even MJ himself during any of his 3peat years was as dominating as Hakeem in the 1995 playoffs, so it really wouldn't if he hadn't ran his tail from the NBA anyways.

  • @FuShengAlex ....actually mike was more dominating than hakeem....EVERY YEAR

    hakeem= ousted barkley 2 times...mike ousted barkley 3 times,including barkleys mvp year

    hakeem= ousted malone 2 times...mike ouster malone 2 times,including malones mvp year

hakeem= ousted clyde and blazers in 94....mike ousted clyde in 92 when clyde was 2nd in mvp..to mike!

hakeem= ousted ewing in 94....mike ousted ewing 5 times!!

hakeem= ousted shaq in 95...mike ousted him in 96

dont even compare hakeem to mike

  • @shaqpopcorn34 Looks like you failed to mention the stat that matters most. The Rockets swept the Bulls in '91 and '93, '85 and '87. Bulls swept only '96 and '98 and '88. Rest are tied between '85-98.

  • Jeez Shaq dissed Hakeem at the end- I know losing sucks but come on that was his year.

  • @eyeswideopen86 well Shaq got revenge on Hakeem in the 2000's, now Shaq has more rings than Hakeem!

  • @ir10031981 I never said either was better than the other so I don't get your point. I highly doubt Hakeem wouldn't have gotten three more rings if he had Kobe in his prime as his sidekick. That Rockets team didn't have anyone but pure role players surrounding Hakeem. Btw ring count doesn't make someone better if that were the case people would call Bill Russell the GOAT. If Lebron or Kobe end up w 8 they still wouldn't be better than MJ bc of the help they have and era they play in.

  • @ir10031981 hell yeah in 2002 when Shaq was with my Lakers, he got his third nba title. Kobe too.

  • @ir10031981 He NEVER got "revenge" on Hakeem. You don't get revenge on someone in sports unless you beat them head to head. That never happened. That's like saying he got revenge on Horry.

  • I really wish Olajuwon and Drexler played their entire careers together in Houston.....it would have been something special. Drexler went to the Finals twice without Hakeem. Hakeem went to the Finals twice before Drexler came in. Together we Houston fans can only dream what might have been. :(

  • Guy V. Lewis! Hell yeah!

  • And besides the Bulls DIDNT win and The Rockets DID. So what the hell is with the speculation? No one that wins an NBA title is unworthy or lucky.

  • Like the way Hakeem immediately had some words for Shaq afterwards. Nothing but classy. Plus he knew that guy was gonna be ok.

  • "Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion!" - Rudy

  • o man da good old days

  • I was there. After the game I ended up with Gene Peterson's handwritten quarter by quarter notes finalized with "NBA CHAMPS!!! AGAIN!!"

  • The 1995 Bulls had no chance against the 1995 Rockets. If Jordan played in 1994, though, it would've been interesting. The 1991-3 Bulls never had anyone great in the middle, but they always relied on having a large complement of competent big men to defend those tough matchups. Bill Cartwright, Will Perdue, Stacey King, Scott Williams, Horace Grant. Having depth at the 4 and 5, even if nobody is spectacular, can wear down opponents.

  • @mrmacross I'm a Rockets fan but I love the Bulls but I think Jordan would have swept us away, to tell the truth. I mean... come on... MJ is the King! Yeah we had Hakeem, Drexler, Elie, Mad Max, and others but they can't be compared to His Airness!

  • animegamer77 .....with comments like that you're no real Rockets fan, lol.

  • @animegamer77 MJ may have been considered "the king" by many, but the FACT is these Houston Rockets has the best TEAM in the NBA! Case Closed! Go Rockets!

  • I'm a Bulls fan, the Rockets were deserving champs in 94-95. People forget the Bulls needed a bad year to re-evaluate their roster and get the right personnel (Rodman for Perdue anyone?).

I think everyone remembers Hakeem and Clyde, but the real story was how Horry, Cassell, Elie, and Kenny Smith outperformed Horace Grant, Dennis Scott, Nick Anderson, and Brian Shaw. Shaq and Penny matched Houston's stars in production, but Orlando's role players didn't come up nearly as big as Houston's did.

  • hakeem the humble giant :)

  • It is truly a classic series, one of the best in NBA Finals History.

  • HAKEEM OLAJUWON is the BEST SHOTBLOCKER in NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION (NBA) History. That is an AMAZING FEAT. PERIOD.

-ENGEL DELA CRUZ from Bulacan, Philippines

  • they woulda whipped that Bulls ass, too.

  • IN THE 1995 PLAYOFFS JORDAN WAS OUTPLAYED BY PENNY HARDAWAY. HARDAWAY WHIPPED HIS ASS. NO EXUSES.

  • We need to bring title numba 3 to Houston. But beating that Lakers frontcourt is gonna be tough

  • must have felt sweet for drexler to ice this game at the line

  • orlando sucks...loosers...im glad the rockets won...they damn sure deserved this

  • 9:10-9:15, Shaq's a helluva actor that knows how to create drama.

  • olajuwon..for 3!!!!!! haha, the sweet memories of my childhood..not even T-Mac can sour THIS!

  • @PandaTheFresh MJ Can't sour this either!

  • BTW, I have Sports Illustrated Collector's Edition magazines commemorating both of the Rockets championships for sale at an affordable price. Message me on here if you're interested. Peace.

  • LOL look from 9:10-9:15 Shaq is crying as he is leaving the floor into the locker room

  • how's that funny? he jus lost in the finals after puttin his heart and soul into it

  • Hakeem, Admiral, Shaq, Hoya Destroya, Zo... "center" use to be crucial position in NBA...

Today we watch such douche bags as Eric Dampier, Nene, Jeff Foster, Ilgauskas, Chris Kaman...

  • NBA TRIVIA

    Question:

Who was the ONLY player in NBA History who won an NBA Championship, an NBA Most Valuable Player Award, an NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award and an NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award on the same year?

Answer: NBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon of the Houston Rockets in 1994

-Engel Dela Cruz from the Philippines

  • i was reading some of the comments on them and it is sad that some dont remember that houston would destroy chicago in the regular season for a LONG time. hell the year utah beat houston was the year chicago went 72-10 well houston played them TWICE and crushed them BOTH games they had chicagos number all the time.. it would have been epic to see them fight for the title each year sadly never happened.

  • @joeyrulz86

YEa they did beat them a few times in regular season but dats is nothing compared to da Finals........AND Houston never beat da Bulls in da 72 win season (1996) check your stats

  • @showstoppa01 yeah i just checked... didnt realize houston beat them in 1996-97 season but 95-96... i was only 12 when it happened so it was fuzzy off the top of my head... but i think i could have been a better series though

  • Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, Kenny Smith, Robert Horry, Mario Elie, Sam Cassell...

Big names, great memories, NBA Champions.

The HOUSTON ROCKETS: the 1995 NBA Champions!

  • @pupungcute if we wouldve kept that roster instead of trading for Barkley, we could had a dynasty...cuz Horry, Cassell, and Elie won titles after leaving Houston...

  • Hakeem and Clyde winning a championship 2gether was great! Phi slama jama!!!!

  • People must not understand how legendary Hakeem was as a player...remember for over 11 years (till clyde showed up) hakeem NEVER played wit an all-star in his prime. Once he got barkley (who was still good but pass his prime) and pippen (for 1 strike-shorten season before being traded to portland) hakeem wasnt the same player. I would take Hakeem over any center in nba history cuz he did it on both ends of the court.

  • Hakeem did have one player, but that was when he was still very young in his career and that player was no. 1 draft pick ralph sampson.

remember twin towers 1986 nba finals vs the celtics.

  • Yea but what ever happened to Ralph Sampson? Great college basketball player but only had a couple good season in the nba wit houston b4 being traded away. Plus houston drafted him wit the 1st pick in 83 & what happened the next season...houston still had the worst record & drafted hakeem wit the top pick in 84. But I understand what you saying. Hakeem did get to an nba finals wit Sampson but Sampson was never the same player in the nba as he was at Virginia.

  • Hmmm for waht i remember, Hakeem never won a championship until drexler came..Even when teamed-up with ralph sampson the famous twin towers..lost to the celts 1986.

  • Comment removed

  • lol hakeem won his first championship in 1993 huh? maybe you should go check on that. i happen to recall the bulls wrapping up their third straight title in '93. maybe you should get a clue before calling other people ignorant. Idiot.

  • in 1993 the championship was won by the bulls.

  • i think the Chicago Bulls would have won 8 straight Rings if jordan didnt retire after his fathers death. The Bulls + The Rockets = the reason Shaq never won a ring in Orlando..

    iLL .

  • the problem was the sonics owning the rockets... the nuggets beating the sonics in 1994 proved big for the rockets since they did not have to face them that year in the WCF...

  • People who think The Houston Rockets Championships were not a great achievement obviously know nothing about the game of basketball.

  • no one can demolish jordan son jordan woulda whopped them in 7 games

  • Jordan played that year and got beat by the Magic,

  • NBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon and the Houston Rockets could have also won the 1993 NBA Championship if they were the Chicago Bulls' opponents and not the Phoenix Suns.

The Houston Rockets would have demolished Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls if they had met in an NBA FINALS Series.

  • I think that the 95 Rockets were a very underatted championship team.

The record they had wasn't the best to gloat about but the one thing the Rockets had was that their playmaker was a center and that team was based on shooting and defense.

If the shooting wasn't falling, then that is when Akeem would take over games as a scorer and Drexler would force the issue by being aggressive.

They didn't have the firepower as other great teams had but they did force teams to play their style.

  • I remember watching these playoffs and was amazed at how the Rockets were able to beat the top 3 teams in the NBA before the Magic. The Magic were 39-2 at home during the regular season, but 18-23 on the road. I predicted that if Houston were to take either Games 1 or 2, then that's it, the Rockets repeat as NBA Champions. After Game 2, I said "SWEEP." Some of my friends laughed at my prediction. Then I got in their faces. "How sweet it is" to quote Clyde.

  • Houston would have beaten Jordan and the Bulls at least three times in the NBA Finals. Without Jordan, they were an average team.

  • I disagree. The '94 Bulls team was a legitimate title contender, moreso than the '95 Bulls with Jordan. Jordan and Pippen work very well together and without the other neither would of won championships. That said, I think had Jordan not retired the Rockets would've beaten them anyway, Hakeem was way too good.

  • Gay Rockets wouldn't have won those damn titles if it wasn't for MJ tanking in for a few years to get B-Ball off his mind and get his body right.Rockets Championships=Tainted

  • Too bad the MJ-led Bulls lost to Orlando in the semis.

And too bad that Jordan never was good against the Rockets and Vernon Maxwell anyway.

  • too bad bulls and rockets didn't collide in the finals during that era.

  • Olajuwon for 3

    talk about a dagger

  • Jordan, himself, said they couldn't do anything with Hakeem when they played. And, it's in stone how the Rockets played the Bulls in that era.

So, it's no doubt that the Rockets would've done some major damage against the Bulls.

But, hey.,,,I'll take those back-to-backs over those should'a-would'a-could'as every day of the week.

  • Olajuwon for three!

    Gives me goosebumps every time

  • to all those saying rockets only won bc Jordan wasnt there- jordan wasnt there bc the magic beat him in the playoffs. sheesh, with that kind of thinking, then no NBA finals has ever counted bc Jordan wasnt in it, and the first 7 yrs of Jordan's own career before he finally got to the finals- i guess dont count either? Might as well say none of the Cowboys or Steelers NFL rings count bc Jordan didnt play in the NFL, its the same illogical nonsense.. I guess Russell's 11 dont count either...

  • Hakeem was unstoppable, one of the greatest and most athletic centers in the history

  • rockets going to have that feeling this year

  • je suis fan de cette equipe et j'aimerai bien un jour aller voir un match au toyota center.ça serait un reve qui se realiserait

  • Every time I watch this video I get chills all over my body. Oh man the memories...

  • To all the people that say that they won because Jordan was absent, don't be ignorant. The records of those years show that the Rockets dominated the Bulls. Maxwell was a great defender against Jordan. It would of been a heck of a series but the Rockets would of won regardless. Olajuwon was unstoppable.

  • Are you crazy the bulls would have beaten the rockets in the finals in the playoffs it's anybody's game.

  • @DaveyJones6969

Your right Rockets dominated the Bulls during the REGULAR Season. But in the FINALS its a different atmosphere, different agenda. Rockets would give Bulls a run but the Bulls are a team on a different level come playoff time. No 1 has the Killer instinct/mental toughness of MJ and his teammates add to that.. So sayin Rockets would beat the Bulls just cause they dominated them in the REGULAR Season dont mean a thing. WHat happened to the Rockets when Mike came Back???

  • showstoppa01 the Bulls lost to a team that Houston swept. Don`t gimme that ``excuse`` MJ was rusty when he posted his career postseason numbers in the `95 playoffs. They went out in the offseason and got Rodman who fortified their frontcourt. And Hakeem already went on the road in his career and beat a defending champion nobody expected him to beat, so try not to paint this ``invincible`` picture.

  • @FuShengAlex look here son... Jordan was rusty. Not makin an excuse. .If Jordan never retired at all you actually think Orlando would of beaten them.. They were young and exciting but not strong enough. Ya rodman was one of da key to the bulls title but Jordan came back with a vengenance. Everyone talks about regular season how Rockets beat bulls 4 outta 5 or whateva the 3 yrs tittlew run of the Bulls But we all now as we see da last couple season with da Cavs Regular Season Means Nothing

  • @FuShengAlex So Ya Hakeem Does his thing .. But dont tell me Rockets swept a Magic team that beat the Bulls. Magics never convinced me as a title team. If they had played da Knicks that year We wouldnt have this discussion because we aLL know how da Knicks fair with the Bulls in the playoffs. So no Excuses Here Son

  • @DaveyJones6969 they dominated the bulls because of mj's absence.. lets just face the fact. and well,, f*ck you

  • @upasgeneration MJ's absence? What absence?! They beat the Bulls straight up, w/ Jordan and Pippen. Deal with it!

  • uhmmm no they did only win because Jordan was absent.

  • You are truly an idiot, Jordan was absent, how is it the rockets fault that his team wasnt good enough to make the finals.

  • GO ROCKETS HAKEEM THE DREAM!!

  • the rockets won this seris for two reasons- shaq was to much in all to be plaing aginst his idol hakeem olajuwon, and he rockets has way....... too much HEART they were underdogs going into this seris, they were underdogs throught those entire playoffs. the whole thin can the rockets won champson aginst jordons bull in 94' yes hakeem was way to unstopable that year plus vernnon maxwell was the newest jordon stopper (says event jordon) second one don;t know but the rockets had more heart.

  • Those who keep saying that the Rockets won 2 titles because of Jordan's retirement FUCK YOU. A center like Olajuwon would be impossible for the Bulls to defend, where as the Rockets had solid defenders to play against Jordan, plus Hakeem waiting for him at the basket. And Hakeem was on fire on his prime.

  • Dream dominated Jordan and Pippen head-to-head. All those garbage baskets they made a living off of evaporated with Hakeem in the paint. The record don't lie.

  • @Deadshot089 I agree. I remember we used to have the Bulls number. Now, on another note, I was always scared of Seattle. It seemed they always had out number, and them being eliminated early in the playoffs, phew! Seattle has HOUSTONS number, but im sick of the Jordan thing. If we played the Bulls, imo, we would have beaten Jordan, they had no one to stop Hakeem.

  • @shadydawg555 Excatly 94-95 Hakeem was in his prime time. After those years he was a little off and slow by slow he got way off. But he was unstopable in 94-95 that I don't think Jordan and Sonics would have stop him and the Rockets.

  • @Deadshot089 ya and plus people act like jordan won the championship every year he was a player. he didn't lol he was the best don't get me wrong but the rockets clearly deserved this the dream definitely earned his legendary status.

  • @Deadshot089 Hakeem worked hard just like Michael to get where he is now. If he didn't retire, they'd have lost to the rockets, and then he wouldn't get the other 3 titles.

  • @Deadshot089 i agree because didnt jordan came back and still lost to orlando?

  • @Deadshot089 We will never know though so we cannot just guess what could of happened

  • @GrindMasterElite The Bulls did lost to Orlando in 1995. That was before Rodman was with the Bulls, imagine if they were able to defeat the Magic and face the Rockets in the finals? The Rockets were a better team than the Magic and they swept them. I'm sure if the Bulls would have beaten the Magic and face the Rockets in the finals they would have lost to the Rockets in 6 or 7 games.

  • @Deadshot089 In the finals the psychology is completely different then regular season man.If Jordan was in the one and pippen backed him up they would definately win.Still we will never find out and that's that:)

  • @GrindMasterElite Ok since when did I compared the regular season to the Finals? I don't remember saying any of that. Read again.

  • Wow, that Hakeem 3 is the greatest way to cap the fate that that championship belonged to them.

  • clyde deserved his ring. we don't see the elegance as his nowadays. not kobe not lbj not melo. legend.

  • OH BOY... BRINGiNG BACK GOOD OL' MEMORIES...

  • Kinda sucks that the mid-1990s Rockets are remembered as the team that won w/o Jordan in the NBA, instead of w/ Olajuwon, Horry, Drexler, Kenny Smith, Elie and co. in the lineup.

  • from what i recall, he came back before the playoffs, then they lost against the magic when jordan got the ball stolen from him and lost the game in the semis 94-95

  • shaq gets owned by every great center. shaq can only win when there is no other great centers left.

  • The biggest dissapointment an NBA history, magic had the best chance to win it all especially since they had home court advantage throughout the playoffs, and they get swept by the rockets what a disgrace.

  • r u serious hakeem was on his prime baby he was too good for thier star player shaq period

  • i know right,a team who went against a 60-22 team in the jazz..beat them, then a 59-23 suns in the second round who lead the series 3-1, damn...beat them too, then, after they gave david robinson the mvp award they somehow someway beat the spurs(62-20 record btw)to make it to the final.yeah to lose to guys like olajuwon and drexler is really a shame.what's really gotta hurt is that they are the first team to win the title as a 6th seed,2nd team to win after a 3-1 series without home court.

  • o and lets not forget the first team in NBA HISTORY, to ever beat 4 50+ teams on the way to the title. yeah that's something to be disgraced about... still waiting on magic to win one.

  • Lack of experience from the magic, this was there first ever finals appearance. The pressure was on, and they could not pull through, especially since the rockets won a championship prior this apearance. And besides the magic were a young and growing team at this time.

  • NOW that you are speaking the real,u can admit they shouldn't have been expected to win it all. they beat the celtics who didnt have anybody but wilkins, they beat a rusty jordan and the bulls, and then got lucky and beat the pacers in the eastern finals. if anything they were a fluke team, far from having the best chance to win it all. and the rockets exposed them for what they really were.

  • oh no they dominated the pacers in the eastern conference finals. I remember that series they could ended that series in six games had rik smits not hit that clutch shot with like two seconds left. And game 7 Orlando completely dominated the pacers Reggie Miller was a non factor in that series, magic dominated that series hands down.

  • kinda like cavs vs spurs in 2007

  • the magic should won that series penny deserved it

  • The decade I enjoyed the most out of basketball was the 90's, the 90's had some of the best players of our time, the bulls won 3 championships from 91, to 93, then the rockets won back to back in 94 and 95, then the bulls finished off the decade with 3 more.

I remember the Houston/Orlando series well, because I was watching basketball for the first time, and I remember how Houston swept Orlando in 4 games, man those were good times.

  • NBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon simply led the HOUSTON ROCKETS in winning two NBA Championships in 1994 and 1995.

Hakeem Olajuwon was the BEST shotblocker in NBA HISTORY. Simply AMAZING.

Watch out for Tracy McGrady and the ROCKETS next year. They will surely rule in the NBA

  • Dream with the dagger from downtown. Love it.

  • hey thebadguychico, just go suck ur boons bootle, and get a life

  • Poor years?Do you remember the Rockets sweeping the season series or spliting the season series with the Bulls?Jordan never faced a player like Hakeem, great at both sides of the court.

  • Faced him for most of his career. Played well against the Rockets.

  • @dfwhtown

REGULAR SEASOn And PLAYOFFS ARe two different atmosphere. More time to prepare and analyze a team. Just cause Rockets been dominating Bulls in da Regular Season Dont mean they would of Beaten them in the Finals. Ya da DREam CLyde MAxwell was good. But Mike had killer instinct

  • @showstoppa01 Did you not see Olajuwon completely eviscerate Robinson in the conference finals? Jordan definitely had the killer instinct, but he wasn't the only one.

  • Poor years 1994 and 1995 the nba was the best when the best team ever play, and yea 1996 remember a record forever 72-10, long life to the best team ever, CHICAGO BULLS !!!

  • you got that right man. 72-10. WOW UNBELIEVABLE RECORD!

  • I remember watching Hakeem make that corner three when I was a kid, I was so excited. Man good times.

  • It's time to bring back Clutch City Rockets!! Let's win that third championship!!!

  • ok the "disastros" are in baseball, and even I must admit they suck. The Rockets are in a totally different sport, sounds to me like your just hating...by the way what team do you root for? Or are just a faggot with no life?

  • maybe not. luc longley or cartwright would have been not match for hakeem just like evreyone else he went against mj tot he rim and the all time leadin shot blocker there no b/s foul calls made. young horry hold pippen jordan plays defense b/c glide would score 20-30 and they prove if there down 3-1 so what. think about it

  • 1 WEEK LATER ARTEST SIGNS! LMAO @ thebadguychico. Celtics better watch their backs!! Artest sayed we're coming for everybody lol..

  • don't worry. the shitty cockets will still get bounced in the first round, as usual. you guys did get artest, but you are forgeting that mcgrady and yao are busts! artest just adds to the trash and pollution of your god awful city.

  • Wow, God awful city? Have you ever been to Houston? You will find some of the nicest people here in all of America. As for the "cockets", all I have to say is "wow"! TMac and Yao are not busts and with additions of Ron and Brent you will see a way better Rockets team then in years past, as long as they can stay healthy.
