Got this game the other day and must say it's very addictive. Only negative about it is that there is a tiny bit of slowdown when playing in tate mode. Nothing game breaking though

I just need to pick this game up, considering how much time i've spent with the first 1945 game on the Saturn.

I see they changed up the special move of the P-38 Lightning. Looks like a group of fighters spawn infront of you instead of that big bomb from the first game.

Got this on PS1 recently - obviously 50hz = ew but if I like it I'll have to add it to my Saturn shmups to buy list.

good stuff i have the ps2 and the ps1 but i think i going to order the saturn one this week this is such a great shooter good to have on all platforms cheers on another great video ps i also picked up darkvoid on your recommendation hope its good as always 5 out 5 later buddy

Hope you enjoy it mate it's better than the PS2 version in my opinion but they're both great. Hope you like Dark Void not everyone's cup of tea (the non jet pack stages try to rip off uncharted a bit) but the game is great :D Thanks for watching mate :D

Are you using the jap virtua stick for this?

Not sure mate, my stick has got autofire but I love button bashing and i seem to be able to do it quicker :D

Nice vid mate. I seen the double pack for the PS2 you mentioned, it was in Wilkinsons for £3.99 I think? Worth a punt or not, or is the PS2 version a horrible port?

the artwork is lovely ,i love the sound of the game, even when selecting your plane or at the start of a new stage,it has a true grity arcade sound to it. gmintyfresh it almost seems like this game is a cross between 1943 and raiden,great vid.

Yep there's a real Raiden Fighters feel to the game, the second one whilst not being radically different has been tweaked to play better, it's very cool mate

Nice little stick, a bit heavy (but tough) but much better than the pad, only used it for shooters so far so I've got no idea how it performs on fighters!! Wouldn't pay silly money for one.
