Is is a lt1 car or ls1? What all is done to it?

It is a lt1, and it's stock for right now, i'm hoping to add performance parts and get a new hood for the car eventully but that probably won't be for a while.

valve stem seals are bad on the firebird. cars sound good.

Thanks for the comment as for the trans am i wouldn't know about the valve stem seals its my friends car. My mustang recently had dual exhaust installed so that made it sound ten times better the trans am has the factory pipes.

Its got a 289 V8 but its and automatic i'd rather have a standard. Want to do some performance mods but it will be a while.

actually turns out none of his fans are working which causes the car to overheat and the injectors are bad.
