Fantastic song , fantastic film. I saw 9 1/2 Weeks when i was 14 years old and it certainly made an impression. The bit at 2.40 - i remember totally falling in love with Kim Basinger at that point , and when she puts the hat on...ah , the memories.

I'll give you a quick example of what I mean. When my husband and I first started seeing each other, I lived in the city and he was a suburbanite since childhood. I got the FLU and had to stay home from work, he would come to see me every night from work, told me to stay in bed and fed me soup. Much like the scene's in this movie.

I must have looked awful and I was somewhat embarrassed. But he was so attentive and loving, I think at THAT moment I feel in LOVE with him. So romantic.

OMG! I couldn't have put it any better. When I heard Mickey was in The Wrestler the 9 1/2 Weeks version is what I expected to see. I was FLABBERGHASTED when I saw what he looks like now. He didn't just go downhill he went down in flames. OMG! This is how I would like to remember him. I am ADDICTED to this movie. I was very spoiled in high school in the 80s.
