This song is so different from any other one in the game. It wouldn't fit for a stage, a battle, or even a conversation. Personally, I think it has to be viewed with the opening video for the full effect.

Every time I start the game, I always watch the opening theme, simply because of the music.

Skrimir's war cry, Kurthnaga leveling the castle with his breath, and the Dark Goddess slowly awakening...all of it is perfect.

The theme even syncs up with the presentation of the different groups, like when it gets dark around the time Izuka is presented.

I don't care what anyone says about it; Super Smash Bros. encouraged me to look at the series, and I'm glad I did.

I agree. I particularly hated IGN's reason for disliking the Game: no motion controls (motion controls? this is Fire Emblem, a strategy game), basically a port of the previous game (no, just no. otherwise the game would be the exact same as PoR, which is not) and the best one of all, no use of Mii's (really? are you serious? Mii's? Fire Emblem?)
