Must understand that a lot of power is generated with the lower body. Typical upper body swing. As a result, body is not stable and wobbly after swing. Try flexing knees a little more and driving with hips(back leg to a stiff front leg) then rotating (hips counterclockwise). As "muskie" states, finish long through ball- after contact, think of hitting another ball in front of you or pushing the ball. You'll be surprised how much extra pop you'll get.

@companysoulnyc when you said that you finish long through the ball, that isn't actually correct. a good major league hitter has there hands back by there shoulder to get more bat speed plus finishing with your hands way out in front of you is less powerful then having your hands back and finishing your hands by your front shoulder. i have been taught by a former major leaguer. who is now a hitting coach for the San Diego Padres AA team.

for 1.) For as big of a kid as he is, he is not using his lower half enough. They are barely rotating, they should be exploding through the zone. 2.) His front foot is leaking. This is where you lose a lot of power. 3.) His front shoulder is turning back towards the catcher, which could create a little more power, but altimatly moves your head so your eyes are not as focused on the ball as they should be. Matters a little more for fast pitchers. Those are just a few. Not mentioning his balance
