what do you mean why? in trench warefare you have guys sitting across from each other having artillery rain down on them like a fucking monsoon and bullets contantly wizzing over their heads. Just because the video shows trench warfare, it doesn't mean it's about WW1. Some countries used trench warfare in WW2 too (for example Finnish).

I must say, for an expansion pack of the origional CoD the explosion graphics/sound as well as the overall graphics are quite impressive for the time. Even now, the explosions are better here than I have seen in other games developed recently.
