  • I agree, its a great report, however, I do not agree with KIDS smoking it. We have to be a little more realistic here. Some of us use this as a "medicine" and some of us just to get high, either way, we know that it is NOT good for our longs at all. There is 4 times more tar in a joint that there is in a cigarette. Do we really want our KIDS to be smoking this?

  • what is your opinion on children w/autism eating cannabis?

  • Much better. There are so many ways to consume THC, anything from candy to brownies. You name it. Don't get me wrong, I know that there are good things and bad things about cannabis as an user myself. I know the winders the works in cancer patients and I have read articles in how it help kids w/autism, I'm not against it at all, in fact, I believe that the DOCs should consider this as an alternative to Prozac for kids w/autism or any other disorder for that matter.

  • funny, the amount invested on the DEA to control Marijuana's black market went up a lot since the 80s, so did the consumption and the amount in the streets. for every cop out in the streets, in the Houston area, there's 3 dealers. and for every pound busted, 20 more are crossing the border. but they dont think about it, they'll just push it and push it. and not realize that they can't do anything to stop people consuming.

  • AMA reckomended that pot be a schedule 2 drug

  • Angela,

Where have you been, tons of news in Colorado as of late, missing your take on the madness.

    Yes We Cannabis!

  • Hey-

I had a "legal emergency" at our house in MA. Before this happened I started on my way back to CO for the winter, and things have been a little chaotic to say the least. I plan on putting another episode out this weekend.

Thanks for checking on me :-)

    Angela

  • I love it when people screw themselves with their own words. Health director is a moron

  • Ohhhh Lordy, Breck went and did it. They Legalized Marijuana for adults over 21. Great news on a day filled with Bad news for our fear mongering Board of Health.

  • There's nothing better than CO justice! God, I love this state :-)

  • Florida's getting its act together too. Google people united medical marijuana florida. Then look for PUFMM, a grassroots org.

    .

  • Your reports are always worth watching.

  • Another Great Report! Keep up the good work.

  • blah blah blah, save the children, gatewaqy drug. all talking heads. cut the bullshit, legalize cannabis

  • You can hear The Beatles in the background at 6:50. Awesome

  • MUAH HA HA HA HA that dudes name is Whynott

  • I loved seeing that :-)

  • 5:46 "The medical community" are we all! Expertise ... on what? Putting pills in people, so that they need other? This is a herbal medicine, the expertise on herbal medicines is limited in the USA ... certainly among those who are in the "medical community".

  • I bought a bunch of hemp products, and have been using it to cook with. AWESOME stuff!

  • I do guess you are aware one can not heat Hemp seed oil.Big chance it turns carcinogen.I do boil Hemp hearts a bit, before I eat them.I noticed that without this, they cause a funny feeling in my tummy. The amino acids in Hemp seed are complete. If you find out some tasty recipe, please notice me.Or perhaps you could make a Hemp cooking report (-: .

  • I read that it shouldn't be heated passed 350. Is this wrong? :-O I haven't heat cooked anything with the hemp oil, but I did put some on hot pasta I had just cooked. I've been using the coconut oil to heat cook with. Made some hemp seed coconut oil choc the other day and it was really good. I am going to make some granola bars with hemp seed, coconut oil, and organic choc. I also got the HempShake, and it's really good w/soy milk :-) Great idea on the cooking segments!

  • 350°F is 180°C, that's correct. But how do you check this? It is very important to stay beyond this point! I bake in olive oil, because it can stand very high temperatures

I just got back from jogging, and got an idea during exercise.I eat often Dolma's for a munchie. These are wine leaves stuffed with rice ... very nice. Anyway, wonder how they taste in combination with Hemp seed oil. Because I always take Hemp seed oil at munchie, to wipe out couch potato after effect, the next morning.

  • Excellent advice! I will just use the oil for raw foods, and that kind of thing. dolmades are so good! There is a Palestinian restaurant near my alma mater that have some really good dolmades.

I am thinking of trying hemp oil to make pesto. Have you tried that before?

  • I never made pesto myself, but I think it's a good idea. I think the nutty flavour of pine nuts go fine with the nutty flavour of Hemp seed oil. Mmm ... I see it all for me "Hi, I am Angela, and I am a Hemp cook." (-: .

  • I was watching videos of using Cannabis in Cooking. Many of them I thought were saying don't get it above 250?? But I could be wrong.

Dr. Diana made olive oil and it was quite interesting to watch. Let me see if I can find it and post the link..

Angela. LOVE your show.. Im hoping MO can get something this go around if not I will be forced to move out of this miserable backwoods state..

  • This Dora Mills character obviously has some very ignorant views or opinions, especially for an MD.

  • I would have to agree. Just because someone made it through medical school doesn't automatically make them a brilliant, wisdom-filled person. It's usually the ones who see/treat agonizing death, serious illness, and/or injury on a daily basis who understand suffering.

  • I got a distinct impression this unhealthy looking doctor had a personal bias against the wonderful plant ally & healing teacher. So I found her to be disrespectful to say the least.

  • Bias is definitely nailing it on the head. I have a feeling if she were ever exposed to true suffering she might get over her bias. I guess it's easy to forget about all the ugliness in life when you don't treat patients, haven't been through a physically traumatic event, and clearly don't understand what it is to suffer. While I value the opinion of doctors, one must be very cautious which doctors' opinions they trust.

  • it will happen across the board within 2 years or less.

thats a good thing but too bad there are so many other serious problems that dwarf the magnitude of this also legit problem. but we will have our day, at least on this topic.

  • there are a lot of other things we could be dealing with other than this issue, too. it's sad that so many people are putting so much effort into all this, when it doesn't need to be an issue.

  • freedom yes prohibition no

  • we're gaining momentum,what an exciting time!!Thanks Lisa.Peace.

  • mmm... a medicine which save children lives is also a threat to their live? what the fuck is this world comeing to. how could someone be so ignorent.
