Just heard this on Radio Two for the first time....turned it up full blast, loved the sound, was intriuged at the 'old mannie' Scots voice! Could not believe it was Paulo Nutini...genuinely thought it was some old wispy bloke with no teeth..GREAT SONG, I love it.
Hes fully scottish , he was born in scotland. His mother was scottish. His father is of Italian descent but his fathers family have been living in Scotland for over 4 generations. So unless you go back to his like great great grandfather then its all Scotish. (FACT) (Y)
he isn't fully scottish. his mother is scottish and his father's family yes have been living in scotland for the past four generation but they are still all italian, they were just raised and grew up in scotland. he isn't fully scottish, he is also italian.

Suo papà è nato in Scozia, i suoi nonni sono di Barga. La quarta generazione non so da dove l'abbiano tirata fuori! Bo! Cmq spiegava che sia sua mamma che suo papà hanno visuuto in Italia prima di incontrarsi e che loro ogni tanto tornano per stare con gli amici! Bello, vero?
