  • Rain absorbs co2 to form carbonic acid thus removing massive amounts of co2 from the atmosphere.

  • What about Lord Rothschild?

  • Thanks alot on putting up this video

  • Wasn't the whole Cohen thing a joke? Do people actually believe that!?

  • Yes, Mr. Monckton, you can be accused of cherry picking data, if you don't explain what happened during the last 750,000,000 years, including snowball earth, ice ages, and so forth. I can't listen to this boob any further. Yech!

  • @upsilon054 What a very proper comment from the university peanut gallery...

  • @Itcus1 Why, thank you :-)

  • Yes, Mr. Monckton, you can be accused of cherry picking data, if you don't explain what happened during the last 750,000,000 years, including snowball earth, ice ages, and so forth.

  • LOL Americans are so foolish.

HE EVEN FOOLED THE US SENTATE. SACHA BOREN COHEN YOU GENIUS

  • "anyone order a foot long sub? well I see one person has their face currently occupied by his own"

  • The Monk RULES!

  • Did this Markey dude even listen to one word that Lord Monckton gave from the peer review studies etc? The guy goes on and talks about how we need to act now.

After Monckton even when going by the Climate scare people and their material, it shows only a one degree of heat of heat change on the climate in a 23 year period. Half of these politicians already have their agenda set up there.

The propagandists want to feed off the people and make us destitute bottom feeders.

  • Know what's 'chilling'? The thought that there are such ASSES passing gas in the U.S. Congress, as Blumnauer & Inslee.

  • @truthlover72 spot on.........

  • Lord Monckton knows how to stick it to them. I agree with some here that Lord Monckton is a legend - he tells the truth. He is fighting on our behalf against some of these political elites who are only thinking for their own profit by deceiving the public.

  • Any scientist who states "the science is settled" should be recalled by his/her University and have their degree revoked. That statement itself is a crime against the philosophy of Science.

  • Monckton is a legend !

  • Ahahahaha the House of Lords Act 1999 specifically removed any claim to his membership of the Lords 7 years before the title even passed to him. He's a freak!

  • Inslee should be shot between the eyes. Thumbs up if you think he's a disgrace to the homo sapien species.

  • Blumnauer is a dick !

  • Inslee used the only tactic that could be used against Lord Monckton. Speak lies about Lord Monckton and speak over Lord Monckton when he tried to defend himself against Inslee's lies.... Monckton's photographic memory is his most effective weapon. Average minds like Inslee don't even try to compete in battlefield of ideas because he is unable to.

  • Jay Inslee is an arrogant moron ...'I myself wannabe a LORD! :( ' ... sob!

  • Thanks Lord Monckton for standing up for us who have no voice but very 4 years

  • Clearly, he's a fake lord, why should we listen to anything he has to say? By the way I have the same bicycle pin and bow tie as the congressman and I'm also a real scientist that debunks myths and knows the true state of climate science ergo vis à vis concordantly, you can rest assured that Lord Monckton is wrong. If you'll excuse me I'm late for my flight lesson with Paul Ehrlich.

  • you are the lord of the heart.

  • its so funny ALL the "scientific" warm-ongers can never come up with any new science they just keep bad mouthing monkton wow really great science you got there thats what the scientists did who thought the world was flat lol they just tryed to bad mouth the people who said it was round instead of proving it was flat lol

  • Well, last time I checked, there is not a national discussion of policy relative to the stork. If there was, I would say we need to hash that out too

Right now, we're having a debate of how to get the economy up and running again, when, the debate is settled. The one proven way of getting an economy back on track, is to cut taxes, reduce Gov spending, and pay down the National debt

It has worked every time in history its been done. We're still having the debate though aren't we?

  • The reason? Because there is policy at stake.

But the economics has been settled for a long time, you can still get economists to argue both sides though. And there is still a debate taking place.

Why should global warming be treated different? Unless you're afraid you don't have the arguments to win?

  • Inslee is a shameless disgrace, residents of WA should be aghast.

Monckton is a gentleman and a genuine champion of the public good

  • Inslee is a shameless disgrace, residents of WA should be aghast.

  • al gore = utterly shameful.

  • and I should also add that royal bloodlines may be superior genetically but that doesnt give them the right to rule or "god given" BS to do whatever they please.

This guy is doing what his kind should be called on to do is use their privelige to protect and better humanity not rule over it.

  • @rustyscrapper Bring it on Monckton is trying to protect the people Gore is lining his pocket book.

  • people can call him a fake lord this and that all they want the fact of the matter is, royalty kept their bloodlines pure for a reason, royalty and kingly bloodlines are in fact superior genetically to the rabble, and ths guy is obviously more intelligent then almost everyone else in that room.

  • Go my Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A scholar and a gentleman!

  • If american congress is THAT DUMB, that country should go down to the dogs a quick as possible!

  • so this mr. sullivan trash says "Mr. Monkeyton" Well, throw away this Sullivan man!

  • I'm talking the public debate

And why are you so afraid of it? You'd think, someone who uses big words like, "scientific", "consensus", "renewable" and "aren't acting", would want the debate as in the face of everyone as possible

But then again... only those who have a powerful scientific argument would gain from such an arrangement. And only those interested in politicizing a very serious issue, for less then honest ends would lose.....

    SO....?

    Which group are you in?

  • Most of these "scientists" are just trying to stay on a gravy train. They are whores, nothing else. Man made global warming is bunk.

  • depends, does the outcome of the stork thing guide trillions of public dollars, decide the future path of technology for the next 100+ years, literally decide the future of the planet, and those that live there (if you're right the planet dies, if I'm right you starve millions for no reason)?

And when I said scientists, I was not referring to monckton, though I think he stays on point, and does address the science, he wouldn't fit

only those in the field would be debating

  • And its not a straw man, its a perfectly legitimate point

The public debate has been one sided, and has made a mockery of scientific discussion up to this point, because of that, opinion is currently on your side

But you DO fear debate, because each debate that takes place, your side loses support, and my side gains it. Because we're right. Because we don't treat the public like they're children who can't figure it out. Because we show them the data, instead of saying, "shut up, we're right"

  • So again, would you support a public, scientist debate? Or are you worried the numbers aren't on your side?

Cause those are pretty much your options. If this was as cut and dry as the stork, you wouldn't be wasting precious time trying to shut people up, you'd engage in as large a public a debate as possible, and settle it

If you're not for pushing this debate, so we can start saving the planet, you're telling me you're not serious

And if you're not worried, then I'm not worried either

  • so you're afraid of the debate then? Cause thats what I heard. If your side has all the evidence, and all the physics

Then debating someone who is making things up because the oil company told them to, should be easy to dispel in such a forum

I just can't figure out, how you can claim you're right, but at the same time be afraid of the debate

If you're so right, you should welcome and encourage a world wide debate. Just like I do. I know I'm right, so I have nothing to fear, how about you?

  • alright, I'll check it out

But I still say a world wide debate, between the SCIENTISTS, not journalists, not politicians, the SCIENTISTS, should be done

Have the debate a few hours long, then meet back every 3 months for rebuttals, and lets just get this settled already

I know I have nothing to fear from such a thing, my side is so incredibly right, that I'm all about it

How about you? You all about it? If you are, lets work together, lets spread this idea, and get it to happen

  • factually vacuous? Name one

He posts his slide shows and evidence online, freely available

Which thing, that is not an OPINION, did he get wrong?

Name ONE. And given how much evidence is supposedly on your side, you should be able to name more than one, but, lets start there

  • I am embarrassed that Dems acted the way they did. How utterly disgusting these loser politicians are. Lord Monckton is a great intellect, and he did completely destroy the other side. The Democrats who attacked him with ad hominems should be ashamed and do not deserve to be in Congress. Remember in November!

  • 0:21, 1:17, Lord Monckington?

Can none of these people get names right?

  • In the history of science it has often happened that the majority was wrong and refused to listen to a minority that later turned out to be right. - Freeman Dyson, American Physicist

  • Monckton shows his years of political experence here, he anihilated them in this debate, all they could do was attack his charecter, not the facts he presented.

  • @rivercarper01 didnt even attack his charecter, they took the micky out of how he looks, and whether or not his name his spelled correctly :P

  • Comment removed

  • The tone of Mr Inslee, I agree, is unpleasant. It makes me wonder what was said and shown before this three part hearing of Monckton. Regardless, the tone brings nothing positive to this meeting and it appears Inslee does more damage to "his side" than to "the other side".

Measurements being better than models, however, isn't true (which Monckton claims). Measurements are required to make models, and models are subsequently used to understand real world situations. That is how science works.

  • Today the elite know that the internet is causing a revolution of knowledge that has backfired revealing their plans. Consistent with the ways of the greedy elite they have conjured up the oh so familiar "national security" cry..to give their last resort reason for shutting down the net.For one thing, all the military, critical functions of society don't run on the same lines, therefore there could be no cyber attack they speak of. "patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel." -Sam Johnson.

  • There are so many awesome people across the world with the many cultures and differences that facinate us all. We have one thing in common that has plagued the peoples of the world since intiquity. The "elite" have manipulated, and fooled the people by hiding knowledge from the working class. From the mayans putting on their eclipse of the sun show to scare the people into giving them the pretty girls, the gold and the best living quarters and the easiest life. Some things never change huh?

  • Lord Monckton makes me damn proud to be British :D

  • Mr, Inslee is what is wrong with our Government, they listen to money, not facts, but money. Everybody find this scum bag and send him Emails of how is a piece of shit.

  • A true lord conducting himself in a dignified and professional manner in the face of ignorant and disrespectful political morons. His message is clear and balanced which is something sadly lacking with several of the panel members. The truth can sure cause a nasty reaction from people who dont want to hear it.

  • Way to go Lord Monckton!!!

    YES HE IS A HERO!!!

  • Lord Monckton conducts himself with dignity in the face of the arrogance of these climate change zealots.

  • you must pay your carbon taxes to the world government, time is of the essence, they must build the world government, 'climate change' is a cozy excuse and a way to tax everyone to death.

  • They flat out said he was a policy advisor, yet certain members were wanting to dismiss him because he wasn't a scientist.

Very class act. (unlike some of our Congressmen... *cough*Inslee*cough*)

  • Is that it?? Or was that the highlights? Athletic democracy lol what was that? The blindfolded, deafened 100m sprint??

  • "clean energy policy" = carbon taxes

  • Its like he never said a word, at the end the chairman basically ignored everything he said, and carried on with the old there's no time to waste. Wow they are going to push it through not because of science,(as the science contradicts it) but politics, power, and control. It is a purely political movement, that seems unstoppable, just as the healthcare bill and all the bailouts. people need to revolt on this global scam.

  • Inslee is an arrogant dumb idiot and an intellectual midget compared to the Lord Monckton.

We need brave people like this and like the Czech president, Vaclav Klaus.

Here is what it says on the Czech presidential flag: PRAVDA VITEZI ("Truth is victorious"). Or rather: the truth shell win!

  • We need guys like Monckton in this debate, he can stick it to these scientists, and anyone on the other side, without preparation, and in a very civil manner

    I love it

  • @LordVigeous666999 Indeed, Monckton comes off as both pleasant and coherent in his presentation, unlike Inslee. Sadly, Monckton's presentation of the science is wrong. He refers to Pinker's graph as proof of natural warming, even though Pinker herself has explained this to be wrong (and why). I suppose this is why scientists should be called to hearings of this kind, and not well spoken policy makers.

  • I agree we should have scientists involved in this as much as possible, but not before congress. Congress is filled with lawyers, and people who were so stupid they couldn't make it in the private market, they had to go into politics were you don't have to know anything, you just have to be good at BS

Scientists need an international debate, going for 2-4 hours a day, for two days. Then meet again in 3 months to do it again. Lets get the debate settled, and then policy makers can talk it out

  • @TheSlowThinker " He refers to Pinker's graph as proof of natural warming, even though Pinker herself has explained this to be wrong (and why)."

    Care to elaborate?

  • @LordVigeous666999

Of course you can stick it to scientists, it you lie and disregard the truth!

    watch?v=vygUBXYSIJ0

  • Lord Monckton is a hero

  • @grandsmalls No, he is not - he is a liar, a spoofer and a charlatan who is denying scientific consensus while not being a scientist himself.

  • @eminentgentleman Stop acting like a parrot, science is not a democracy its not about consensus, scientists are suppose to be skeptical not political enviro cheerleaders. Lord Monckton produced facts and scientific literature to prove his point the others didn't because they are running a scam.

  • @MultiTacs What facts did he produce, Parrot?

  • @grandsmalls he is mine to ,,,you can see easily how he puts that bloke in his place ,,he just used personal attacks to dismiss monckton as a lier,,,,,,he is a genius and he knows his stuff meleymelo1
