  • If a tin horn like Knoxville showed up in town the Duke would've left him to fry in the sun

  • 5 people think zima is beer

  • As Rooster Cogburn, he wanted his "St. Louis beer" because Milwaukee beer was "too sweet". Don't know 'bout Colorado beer.

  • @NimblewillBill

It was actually Kansas City beer that was too sweet for him in that movie (sorry) :)

  • the two coolest guys hollywood ever produced. the Duke and Johnny Knoxville. awesome

  • @jnbrown62 Your putting a P.O.S. like Knoxville in the same catagory as the Duke? OMG! Knoxville wouldn't be a pimple on the Duke's back side! Gonna need to get a grip on that one! LOL!!!

  • The US never loses ? What , apart from Vietnam , Iraq , Korea , Afghanistan , the war on drugs etc etc. You won the battle of Grenada though , I will grant you that.

  • @ilikezappa dont bring politics into beer buddy

  • @45thundertrain Ooops , Sorry. Can we talk about sport and fighting instead?

  • @ilikezappa yes thats what its all about!!!

  • @45thundertrain cool , I know lots about Cricket ............

  • So the one guy is Knoxville, but is the other guy the one from "Three O'Clock High"??

  • @EchoMike03 Yes that's Richard Tyson, he also played crisp in Kindergarten Cop.

  • Is that Knoxville?

  • @BigUnitBeef yep! xD

  • Haha, the Duke & Jackass having a Beer! I think the Duke would laugh at Jackass, and guess what, "the Duke drank Canadian Beer, his favorite"!!

  • Johnny Knoxville and the bad guy from Kindergarden Cop - hahaha!

  • lol isnt that johnny knoxville??

  • coors light sucks but i'd drink the holy shit out of it if john wayne's ghost bought it for me!

  • @HumeAnnoyed LOL damn straight, even if it was the moose piss that is coors light

  • Love any tributes to The Duke, and these commercials are cool, but The Duke would have been drinking whiskey.

  • Holy shit thats Richard Tyson from 3 O'Clock high and Johnny Knoxville from Jack Ass

  • I AM GOING TO HAVE THAT COLD ONE RIGHT NOW!

  • @TwinCityKillaz

You're an idiot. The Duke died plenty of times. FIghting Seabeas(shot while ramming a bulldozer with thermite whire into an oil tank) Sands of Iwo Jima (shot just before the flag raising) The Alamo (Run through with a flag before blowing himself up with the gun powder) The Shootist (Shot in the back with a shotgun by a barkeep). Wake of the Red Witch (Airline is cut and he drowns) The Cowboys (Kicks Bruce Derns arse before he get shot 3 times) and a few others.

  • @GojyotheFeared he had bruces ass whiped until he shot him

  • @bigcountrypicker

That's because Bruce Dern's character was a coward who couldn't take the asswhooping he deserved.

Kinda reminds me of how they portrayed Ike Clanton in Tombstone.

  • @GojyotheFeared ya Ike was a pussy

  • if i'm ont mistaken, that one guy is johnny knoxville.

  • @ofcourse19 you're absoluteley right,it is johnny knoxville.he's a big fan of john wayne

  • Thats Johnny Knoxville!!!

  • well how about that... John Wayne and Johnny Knoxville in the same comercial!! COOL!!

  • Hehe. Just about all of Wayne's lines are taken from El Dorado! XD

  • @GojyotheFeared very true its my favorite Duke movie.all the other lines were said by a John Wayne impersonator

  • @Knightcowboy89

Could have been Robert Mithum. According to the back of the "My Beatiful America" cd, that's who did all the vocals for it to make it sound like Wayne.

  • @Knightcowboy89

This must have taken a lot of editing because the line, "I'll buy you a bear too was said when he was sitting outside the sherrif's office on a horse at night. Yet here he says it inside a bar during the day in a crowded room.

  • The Duke would never drink this piss

  • @gray499kcw THATS RIGHT IF HE DID DRINK BEER IT WOULD OF BEEN BUD NOT COORS LIGHT PISS THE DUKE WAS A WHISKEY DRINKER

  • This is sick

  • reminds me of the gay beer commercial on snl

  • john wayne ftw!

  • Charles Bronson and Chuck Norris combined could'nt kick John Wayne's ass why cuz John Wayne is the United States of America and the USA never loses no matter what the odds

  • @BigBlueFan1987 YOU TELL THEM PILLGIAM

  • @BigBlueFan1987 Unless it's Vietnam! Just joshin ya; the Duke was, and always will be timeless.

  • @BigBlueFan1987: AMEN

  • @TwinCityKillaz

I guess you never saw "The Cowboys" then, because Bruce Dern shot him in the back and killed him off in that one.

  • There where 8 movies that John Wayne died in. Central Airport (1933), Reap the Wild Wind (1942), The Fighting Seabees (1944), Wake of the Red Witch (1948), Sands of Iwo Jima (1950), The Alamo (1960), The Cowboys (1970) and The Shootest (1976). This would not include the film The Man the Shot Liberty Vance as that the film was shown him in flash back and he was already dead

  • for the record: he died in 6

  • The Hell he did!

  • YOU KNOW YOUR JUST ABOUT RIGHT

  • twinciytkillas the duke died on the screen 9 times lol and charles bronson didnt have a hoot in hell against john wayne

  • actuall its 8 but close

  • Wow How'd I Miss This One? LOL

  • Probably because it aired 10 or more years ago haha.

  • Lol Probably True,Glad The Duke Could Show Up For One Of These Ads LOL

Even If He Wasn't Really There :D

  • "John Wayne's" real name was MARION..

  • Marion Mason, I know.

  • His Name was Marion Michael Morrison,

some records show first and middle name reversed,,,,, his nickmane came from fis childhhod dog "DUKE"

  • Yep.

  • Johnny Knoxville and John Wayne in the same frame? I thought I'd seen everything.

  • I love Coors.

Coors Light is okay too if you're out of Coors.

  • @imacjoe92 Why would you by it in the first place.

  • John Wayne is such a bad ass, most of the clips of him in this commercial is from "El Dorado," one of this best movies...I wish the beer was budweiser tho

  • John Wayne would never drink light beer

  • You got that fuckin right!!

  • The Duke really loved Colorado. He used to own a Ranch in western Colorado back in the 40's and 50's

  • Did you notice one of the guys was Johnny Knoxville?

  • yeah

  • the clips they used were from the movie el dorado one of my favorites

  • A man's man...a real man...JW...always my hero.

  • John Wayne hawkin' that sissy pisswater? I don't think so!

  • Amen to that! John would never drink that shit.

  • The Duke would throw a shot of Wild Turkey into a glass of Pabst.

  • Best commercial I've ever seen!

  • I had several beers with the duke and then we got in a bar fight an kicked Ass! then I woke up.

  • Thats Johnny Knoxville too.

John wayne would have amde a great president.

  • yeah by staying home and rallying for the moral of his country unlike anything you've ever done or anyone else in this modern day and age...assholes

  • your gay

  • you're gay

    see what i did there

    dumbass

  • damn liberal, he was a damn American hero in my book supported every damn military man, not like you would know any thing about that to busy shoving your thumb up your ass

  • alot of those clips are from "el dorado" with james caan and robert mitchum.

    the duke kicks ass.

  • You kick ass for knowing the movies those shots came from. God Bless You!

  • Great Video,I Love The Duke!

  • John Wayne Rocks!

  • fakepoetry is apparently a hopeless alcoholic trying to justify his feminine ways.

  • That was superb.Loved it.

  • get into a fight with a drunk guy. and after you punch him in the face twelve times and he keeps coming, we'll see who the weakling is.

and beer is funny. and john wayne is a fucking legend.

and your mother gives amazing oral.

  • KNOXVILLE AND KINDGARTEN COP BAD GUY meets The Duke!

  • Isn't that Johnny Knoxville? ROTFLMAO!! Never thought I'd see the day...

  • John Wayne wouldn't drink light beer

  • there ya go

  • The Duke was the king! I grew up watching his westerns...I miss ther genre and miss the Duke!

  • Those scenes are from 'El Dorado'

  • True but did you realize that some of John's lines are not his own? The lines "What's a matter guys, lost?", "Grab some seats", and "You guys still headed to Colorado?" are actually Rick Levine's voice. And there is also a very obvious effects mistake. And in all the scenes where John said one of his real voice linesn in the movie he is wearing a blue shirt. Only in the scene where he said "You know you're just about right" did he have a red shirt in the movie.

  • Hey Fancy Vest!!!

  • Rick Levine was the director...not the voice over.

  • I wish he was around for me to buy ! for em?

  • HAHAHA That is great I never realized that was Johnny Knoxville I love that Commercial

  • Now that's true grit!

  • id drink a beer with the duke!

  • you are right sir, The Searchers is more than it seems. Westerns are disliked by the wine and cheese crowd because they seem trite and racist, but they often strike at society's primeval..self-reliance/redemption/love/culture vs nature/etc...The Western is an original American genre...i say embrace it for what it is..

  • Johnny Knoxville!

  • How old is this commercial it look VHS to me

  • Cool commercial......like the Steve McQueen Mustang commercials that came out about 3 years ago.

  • i hate beer but love this commercial!

  • LOL cool commercial, thanks for sending it to me Johnnycashfan...I do miss The Duke...

  • wish he was still alive

  • So do I because John Wayne is my favorite actor and the only I really like who is dead. The lower nine of my top ten favorite actors are all still alive. It is almost impossible that he would still be acting though because he'd be turning 101 on May 26, 2008.

  • Great Video,I Love The Duke!

  • They should bring back these computer generated John Wayne beer commercials for Coors. I haven't seen this in quite a few years, thank you for uploading it. John Wayne rocks!

  • Does anyone besides me realize that some of John's lines are not his own? The lines "What's a matter guys, lost?", "Grab some seats", and "You guys still headed to Colorado?" are actually Rick Levine's voice. And there is also a very obvious effects mistake. John Wayne's movie El Dorado was the movie this footage was taken from. And in all the scenes where John said one of these lines, except for "You know you're just about right" he is wearing blue shirt.

  • I may have to become a coors man after that one

  • Holy crap! That was Knoxville and the bad guy from Ahnold's Kindergarten Cop movie with the Duke! Never saw this one before!

  • yeah:D

  • That was great! The Duke rules
