It all comes down to preference, Some like PC, some like mac. I hate mac because I find them confusing. I also like knowing that I can build my own PC using what ever parts I can find and PC has lots of redundancy. Mac tends to be more efficient with less redundancy, Both can be temperamental, both can and will fail as often as the other. My dad uses Mac, I use PC, we both get what we want out of out computers.

I think every1 needs to chill out... pc - great bang per buck, mac - great build quality. You get what you pay for. OS? Ubuntu/W7 are both great in their own right. OSX, never used long term but I'd imagine it's feel is Ubuntu with user friendly coated over it. In short: you're all wrong - computers suck lol (joke, I love em really lol)

@mitsubishirocks1 Macs are terrible hardware. You pay 200$ for a stick of ram that costs 79 cents to manufacture and you can't even install it yourself without voiding your warranty. The only usefulness of apple as a computer manufacturer is to keep Microsoft from getting 100% market share. Macs use worthless hardware and charge you ten times the price than the exact same hardware in a PC. And worse is they aren't even put together well. Come back when you can actually formulate a real sentence

Not all video and/or picture editing is done on macs. Madagascar the movie was made with an awesome cluster of HP hardware, while shrek 1,2 and 3 were all made with Dell hardware. Macs are needlessly expensive, you pay for the apple logo and thats it.

Macs crash too... it impossible for any piece of machinery to NOT crash at some point in its life span and Macs are no exception. The macs they have at my school have frozen up and needed to be reset which is a form of crashing. You just don't get the blue screen of death that tells you WHY you crashed.
